I have been a member with CAFCU for several years. Recently I sold a car to a dealer and the credit union still had a loan on it. The dealership sent a check to the credit union which they acknowledged they received on 9/6/23. They said it would take 7-10 days for the check to clear (seriously, takes about 2 days for a check I write to end up being deducted from my account) anyhow after two weeks, I call the dealer to see where my check is as the car was worth more than the loan. They say they still have not received the title. I call the loan officer, Laura, who handled the payment and had to verify the payoff amount. She stated the title was sent on 9/7/23 and that the dealership must have it by now. Dearership says they have not received. I call the credit union back now to talk to a supervisor and have to hold for 30 minutes. I am then told titles are only sent out at the beginning of the following month but the branch manager of the Oak Brook office will call me tomorrow. The branch manager emails me today to tell me they have released the lien and sent the dealership the title yesterday, despite me specfically telling the loan manager yesterday that I would pick up the title so I could make sure it gets to the dealership and I can get my money. Please do yourself a favor and don't do business with these people. I have heard three different stories from three different people and none of them care about me the customer.

I've been on hold for over an hour trying to get info on why my personal info is not being recognized and I need to be able to check my account. Unacceptable and since I live out of state from my branch now, I'l seriously thinking about closing this accout.

Very Very disappointed in the result of my application for a loan! AI have been a member for well over 17 years - and I was not approved for a personal loan for Debt payoff!! The loan was only $5,000.00 which I have had loans previous and paid the off! Very disappointed in this result for a member/myself with many years at this credit union. I find this unfair-and not hopeful for future members. How can you p[ay off debt if you don't get a loan to assist you with this!

I have been a member of CAFCU for just over 30 years now.A few things got mixed up recently and Keyon at CAFCU went above and beyond to help get it straightened out. She was very patient, knowledgeable and helpful. She even called me back after a few hours to follow up that things were back in order. Keyon is the type of employee any bank or credit union would be proud to have on their team. She is the type of customer service representative person who can make a big difference with the custovers, so THANK YOU Keyon for all of you help today!

Corporate America is my go to banking. When ever I call and or visit the branches the Credit Union Staff goes above and beyond. No issues to date and I've been with the for more than 20yrs!!!

I moved from Ct where I lived close to a CAFCU location. I now live far away from any CAFCU but I can call on the phone and immediately receive Great service. This is why I will never leave CAFCU.

i have been banking with them for more than 33 years! they are my #1 bank for everything. i have a mortgage with them, personal and business accounts. i have never been inconvenienced by them not having a brick and mortar store... i know where their at if i need them.

As soon as I gave this review because of nice behavior of team, I was surprised this morning by rude behavior of this team. No one explained to me why they out pause on my refinance application. Just said couldn’t establish income source verification without asking for any documentation to substantiate it.The risk office called me and said my documents are fake and I asked him what he needs to establish the accuracy of documents, He said his experience tells him that this is fake and he wasn’t ready state any facts or give me chance to provide any data lol

CAFCU is by far the BEST banking experience I have had, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and there to support me with any questions or concerns of my financial wellbeing. I really enjoy the added benefits of webinars to continue expanding my knowledge as it relates to my financial health. I feel like they are always keeping my best interest in mind and present ideas to meet my goals. I have learned so much from this Team and truly look forward to future collaborations! I have been a member of CAFCU for over 30 year.. I have always had a good customer service. The girls at the Towanda pa. branch have always taken excellent care of me and my family. I would recommend CAFCU to everyone I know.

Great service in-person, but the telephone customer service wait times are unconscionable. This has been the case both before and after COVID, and while I expect to get the generic CAFCU response about how they appreciate my comments and are continually working to improve their customer service experience, I highly doubt the call wait times will improve in the near future.

I really want to thank the staff at the Elgin CAFCU branch, and particularly Meg Sheehan. I needed A LOT of past information for my mom and Meg was always friendly and pleasant and got what I needed quickly. And she had a smile even when I showed up one time at 4:45!

Very responsive once we get the agent. Sometimes they are very busy but they always call back when added to the call back queue. Many services have been very helpful to us.Suggest they greatly increase the transfer limits which are currently 30 days rolling period of $10k. This is quite restrictive in these days.
