I met with oral surgeon Dr. John Hur on 12/18/2025 after having all four of my wisdom teeth removed on 12/12/2025 at a different dental office by a different oral surgeon not affiliated with High Point Dentistry. I was having pain, unanswered questions, and concerns and when I tell you Dr. Hur answered all of my questions, actually examined my mouth, ordered x-rays, and put me on a different regimen of meds that will help me to heal…I feel seen and heard! Thank you Dr. Hur!

I was disappointed when I moved and had to leave my previous dentist. I didn’t want to find a new one because I felt that no one would compare to my last. I researched and found Dr. Patel who had amazing reviews. I gave her a chance at High Point Dentistry and the reviews did not lie. She was empathic, actively listened to my concerns (both about my teeth and starting with a new dentist), and made me feel understood and supported. She even let me vent about the recent passing of my grandfather. During this conversation she was actively engaged, genuine in her responses, and culturally sensitive to the differences in grieving (although this conversation isn’t a part of her job, it speaks to the type of person she is and how she works with her patients). Jessica and the dental hygienist Erika were equally amazing. Both were very easy people to talk to and I felt comfortable with them very quickly. I felt very well taken care of with the staff at High Point Dentistry in Elgin. The facility is also nice and well maintained which is another plus. Five stars!

I've been going to high point since 2011. They helped me with my invisalign treatment then and made me feel very confident during that time being an awkward teen with braces. Fast forward to present day almost 15 years later, there are lots of new faces but still the same attention to detail, everyone is genuine, they always have great music variety but ultimately what makes me keep coming back after moving an hour away is that I am not just another patient, they dont want to rush me in and out. Dr. LaRocca learned from greats because he goes the extra mile to take care of little issues before they become bigger, I recommend this place to everyone. 11/10.

I was met by a lovely tech who spent 20 helping me to transfer X-rays from my phone. She took time explaining procedures to me. That was good but then I met the dentist who explained the best way to help me. Both were exceptional.

Great experience I’ve received at a dentist office in a very long time. The atmosphere was comfortable, felt “homey” and my doctors were positive from start to finish. Everything was explained well in detail and I was welcomed back after not going there for years due to moving around. They made me feel hopeful and I felt happy with my results and know I’m taking steps in the right direction for my dental health to get better.

Had a fantastic experience at High Point Dentistry in Elgin! The entire staff was incredibly friendly and professional, from the front desk to the hygienist and the dentist. They made me feel comfortable and well-cared for throughout my visit. Highly recommend!
