I recently had service done here for the first time. I came across them through a google search. I worked with Jose, the owner, who was amazing. He was honest, reasonable in pricing, quick, and professional. Furthermore, he was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail and gave honest recommendations. He kept me up to date through the entire process. I also like that they are family owned. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need.

J & R Auto repaired the discharge hose on my A/C compressor and would absolutely recommend them! It's really uncommon for me to take my car to a shop for repairs (I'm grateful my husband can do quite a bit). I spoke with José at the shop and from our first conversation, I was comforted. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, transparent and laid out expectations of diagnosing, time and cost. I never felt like I was trying to be sold to or take advantage of. A personable thing I really appreciated: my husband was present for all of our conversations with José. I'm pretty ignorant with cars and felt more comfortable with my husband there who could ask more specific follow up questions and such. José ensured he was always looking at both my husband and I when explaining the work. Those gestures goes miles for me and hold just about as much impact as the mechanical work being done, too. The work was done quickly, well, and at a price we were comfortable/happy with. Their communication throughout the process is great, too. After a year without a/c, I'm so so grateful for the work done at J & R Auto Inc! Thank you!

After having the worst time at the Toyota dealership, I came to J&R, whom I had been recommending to people. I was treated respectfully and as a normal person. Jose and Angel were up front and explained everything to me in great detail. They got my car inspected, sent me videos and pictures of the issues and had my car ready to go within the day. Jose gave me awesome updates, everything was explained in the reports and nothing was missed. I will definitely be going back again for everything!

I just want to say that I appreciate a shop where you’re not taken advantage. I dropped my car off about 2 days ago and I’ve been working with Jose and he’s amazing. I had let him know what I thought was wrong with the car before hand and he said he’d like to do an inspection before we make any decisions. And I’m happy that I did that. He also let me know that he won’t touch anything on the car that he has not had given permission to. I have been to multiple mechanics that make up things just to get extra money and because I am a female. He took pictures of everything wrong and explained what was happening down to the paint. I also had asked him what was the best thing to fix now and he narrowed down to 2 parts that he thought that could fix everything but he wouldn’t know until he did so. I have a Ford and he said that I needed the parts specifically from ford. He saw that shipping was going to take a few days and he went out his way to see if dealers had that part so he can pick them up. Unfortunately they didn’t but I have yet to see another mechanic go out of their way to make things happen. My car is still not fixed due to me having to wait until Monday but I am overall satisfied on his service, and dedication. There’s multiple things that need to get fixed on my car and due to the economy I don’t have the money to fix everything just yet. But I will definitely continue to go back to him for them. He is 100% honest and his feedback is excellent. If you’re looking for a place to get your car done definitely go here. And they’re definitely affordable. I called 2 places before this one and they were trying to charge me $100 just to inspect the car and $1.9k just to fix 1 part. Jose had quoted me at $380 for these 2 parts and also a coolant pressure test. Hence there is more to fix on the car. But he assured me that he wants to do one step at a time because he can’t exactly pin point where the problem is coming from. I love that he’s taking his time to fix it instead of trying to be money hungry and throw random things out and I’d have to be back in the shop next week because of the same problem. Definitely go here. This review is based off of 2 phone calls and just me dropping my car off. I definitely would recommend

Jose was a very honest mechanic and this was the first mechanic shop I've ever been to, to not charge me anything for his time and diagnosis and also not pressure you into getting repairs. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!

We brought a car in here for a pre-purchase inspection on a used car we were looking at. They did an incredibly thorough inspection including pictures. They took the time to go over all of the issues and when we asked they gave us their recommendation. Based on their inspection we decided to pass on the car that we were looking at. They likely saved me thousands of dollars and a number of headaches. Easily the best money I ever spent. I would highly recommend this shop if you are looking for experienced, reliable mechanics.
