The installer (David Gold, Rolling Tones) was absolutely meticulous and extremely attentive to detail. He even did some of the prep work to my kit before he got to my house to do the installation. When he was done with the installation, he took the time to go over operation and shared do’s and don’ts. He also took the time to call into K40 to register my unit on the phone with me. Of course, I haven’t been close to any radar ‘fishing holes’ but the K band muting works really well. Being retired law enforcement, I don’t intentionally speed but with a 650 horsepower car, I’m watching the road and traffic. My speed? Not so much. It’s well worth the money!

I dealt with Lisa to design the K40 system for my new 2023 Z71 Tahoe, her expertise and recommendations made me feel that I was getting the best system on the market. After a few road trips I am convinced that I made the right choice.

I called K40’s customer service line after getting frustrated with not finding the answer to my question in the manual or with a quick Google search. Dave was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and patient as I asked him multiple rapid fire questions on how to use my new radar detector. In today’s world most people only take the time to leave a review if it’s negative so I wanted to try to counterbalance that by leaving a positive review about my genuine experience. He may think he was just doing his job, but I feel like he went above and beyond because he did it in an way that made it seem not only like I wasn’t an inconvenience but that he truly empathized with me.

I bought my first K40 over 30 years ago and it worked awesome. I now have one in each of my vehicles over the last 4 years and they work great. I purchased my last custom install from Don McCallister out of the Orlando area. He actually came out to my house and did the installation which is almost unheard of these days. Recently I experienced an issue and contacted K40 about the issue. They provided me Dons number as they had records that he was who I purchased the unit from. I contacted Don and he made the drive out to my location the following day. He was able to diagnose and fix the issue for the most part. I did need a new laser part which was ordered. Don returned to my home about a week later and installed the part.Don did an outstanding job and responded immediately. I truly will always stay with a K40 because of his outstanding customer service. I’m a “Raving Fan”. Great customer service is not very common these days and he provided outstanding service. One of our local dealers was so busy indicated it would take 5 weeks before they could even diagnose the issue. Don came out the next day. He had to drive from Orlando to Ocala which is over an hour away. K40 staff has also been very helpful anytime I call.Customer for lifeB Owens

I have had the RLS2 for about 3 years now and it's by far the best Radar detector I've ever had. I've been ticket free since I got it,100% worth every penny.That being said, I'm getting a new car soon and I wanted to either upgrade to a newer model or see what other k40 tech I can get installed. So I called them and was blown away buy how top notch their service was.I talked to Patrick Dunaway for about 20 minutes and he is not only one of the nicest people I've ever talked to, he was also super knowledgeable about every product and he recommended me to custom shop in my area that can get the work done.K40 is the best radar out there and they have the best customer service to back it up. I will never be switching back to Cobra or Valentine. K40 is where its at!Thank you guys for being the best!!!

The product and customer service is world class and among the best I have ever experienced. Lisa and ( forgive me, but I forgot the name of the first person who helped me how to use the system ). I had an inadvertent error during installation ( wrong product was installed 200 vs 360). One phone call and the issue was corrected to beyond my expectations. Kudos, keep up the superb work thanks again

I've had the K40 system for just over a month with two (COVID) road trips under my belt. I really have enjoyed the technology thus far and I look forward to learning and experiencing more about the K40 Platinum 360 system. More to come... Safe and timely travels!
