About Lords Park
Lords Park is a spacious and beautiful park located near the Elgin public museum and a small zoo. The museum has a low entry fee and air conditioning, making it a comfortable visit. The park features plenty of open areas for running and playing, as well as nice walking trails. Families can enjoy the farm animal area, which, while not large, offers fun activities like a scavenger hunt and close encounters with animals. Visitors appreciate the park's cleanliness and the presence of a security guard, which adds a sense of comfort. The park is also a picturesque location for photography, with scenic spots like a bridge overlooking swimming ducks and geese, and a gated area where deer roam. Although the zoo may be closed seasonally, the park remains peaceful and quiet, with opportunities to spot local wildlife, including a nesting pair of owls. Overall, Lords Park is a well-maintained space that provides a variety of activities for all ages, making it a great destination for both relaxation and recreation.

Great park for a walk and plenty of playground spaces. The farm zoo isn't huge, but the kids had a load of fun with the scavenger hunt there and seeing the animals up close.
