Not staffed well enough during the mid day during the week. One check out lane open and the self checkout closed entirely with 6-8 people waiting to checkout is not convenient for customers who have a schedule to keep to.

Target in Elgin is horrible! The lady manger that was working at 6:00pm on Dec 3 is just rude and completely incompetent. I will never shop at Target again! I will do the usual and go to Meijer where you actually have decent people who know what they are doing!

Staff was unprofessional. Cashier wanted to announce for the whole store to hear that my card “didnt have enough funds” for the payment. Which it did, but unprofessional of her to announce that loudly.

I have mixed feelings about this target location. On the one hand, the staff are fantastic, and the store went through a remodel no that long ago. On the flip side, it feels like not enough attention is being put into upkeep and a lot of the time items that I want are not in stock. Furthermore, it feels like this store, and target stores in general, are being treated more as warehouses than actual retail locations.

2/28/24 noon. I purchased about $200 worth of cards. The lady that checked me out was almost looking for a reason not to do the sale. She walked over to the were the cards were to make sure there wasn’t a limit on how many I could buy. Then proceeded to check every single bill I gave her to make sure it wasn’t fake. like come on people I realize you got a job to do but do you have to go above and beyond for $17 an hour? No you don’t. I really hate to go there, but talk about discrimination to the max. ?
