5 Stars isn't enough for the The Learning Tree!
All 3 of our children attended. We loved it so much we re-enrolled our youngest as well. Now, as he transitions to closer to home for Preschool, we're leaving with grateful hearts. It's bittersweet to say goodbye, but we are so thankful for the care, love and learning all 3 children received over the years. The teachers, staff and administration are incredible, nurturing, dedicated and truly invested in every childs growth and happiness. The Learning Tree has been a second home to our family, and we will always carry warm memories of our time there. Thank you for everything!

Our kids loved their time at Learning Tree. We had two children attend and were part of the school for multiple years, and have only positive things to say about the teachers and staff here.
Even though we've moved and no longer are in the area, our kids still talk about their teachers and the friends they made here. Thank you to all of the teachers and staff at Learning Tree Elgin West!

We've been so happy here! Our daughter spent her first two years at learning tree. Even when she was a tiny baby, she always had a smile on her face when I went to pick her up, and I'd know she had a great time. One of her first names she learned was her teacher Amy's name--she would even ask for her on weekends! We were so sad that a move would make it too far to drive every day, or we would have stayed until kindergarten. They have great facilities and activities for all ages. This is a wonderful place to send your children.

My girls are almost 2 and have been at the Learning Tree since they were four months old. They are currently in room 4 and love all the teachers there but they have a special bond with Miss Amy who treats them as her own. I know they are in good hands there and the frequent updates and pictures give me peace of mind. We’ve had nothing but a great experience so far.

We’ve been part of The Learning Tree family for a couple of months now, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. Every staff member we’ve met has been incredibly kind and caring. It’s clear they pour their hearts into their work and genuinely care about the children. As a first-time mom, I was initially nervous about starting daycare, but my son is absolutely thriving here. The app they use for communication is so convenient—I love being able to easily connect with the staff and get updates throughout the day. The picture updates are such a highlight; seeing his smiles and activities gives me so much peace of mind. A special thank you to everyone in Room 1—you take such wonderful care of our little guy, and we’re so grateful for all you do! 🥰❤️

This is a really great childcare center. The staff members really care for the kids and their families. The communication to us is phenomenal throughout the day. The staff do a really great job keeping the kids on a schedule and provide a variety of activities each day. Our son has been in the infant rooms and is now in a toddler room (4), and all the teachers have been FANTASTIC, especially Julie and Gabi in the infant room, and Donna, Natasa, Sadie, and of course Miss Amy in the toddler rooms!

I cannot say enough great things about the Learning Tree, Elgin West. We just moved to the area and they had space for our son right away. I was very nervous about changing schools for him, but he was so happy and at home right away; he instantly settled in. He is learning so much at just 2.5 years and they always have fun playing outside, doing art projects, or learning about a theme of the month. He is even in a cooking class and helps us cook at home now. Ms. Kayla, his current teacher, is his absolute favorite, glued to her side every day. She is so warm and welcoming and patient with the kids. I work 5 days a week, so it is such a relief knowing how much he enjoys his days with Ms. Kayla and that he is just as loved at school.

We’ve had an amazing experience with The Learning Tree Elgin West! Their hours are perfect for our family (6:30a-6p). They are so flexible if we need to add an extra day here and there. Their communication with us is absolutely top notch. They respond to our messages in the app right away and keep us updated throughout the day, plus they send so many pictures of our son having a great day! What we love the most is how caring the teachers are. Our toddler is mainly in room 4, and his teachers are amazing (especially Miss Amy, Miss Sadie, Miss Donna, and Miss Natasa!) Our son usually has some trouble with drop off in the mornings (shy, scared, doesn’t want to leave mom) and they know exactly what he needs and they swoop right in to take over and he calms down almost immediately. We’ve also had great experiences with the infant rooms before moving up to toddlers (Miss Julie and Miss Gabby are the best!). This center has helped our son learn and grow and we definitely recommend it!

We’ve had a positive experience at The Learning Tree - Elgin West and can’t recommend it highly enough! Ms. Shelly, Ms. Torri, Ms. Ashley, the Ms. Julies, and Ms. Yoselin provide exceptional care and truly go above and beyond for the kids. The balance of play and learning is spot on, offering structured activities that keep the kids engaged and excited to go every day.
The center is always clean and well-maintained, and the staff is not only friendly but creates such a welcoming atmosphere for families. We’ve also met some wonderful parents and kids here, which has been a bonus. We've also been happy with the food provided, though it was a bit of a roller coaster until they were able to find the right staff for the kitchen. Regardless, they found good solutions and our oldest had good food that WE didn't have to prepare.
The outdoor play area is fantastic, and outdoor play is important to us, so we appreciate how much time they dedicate to letting the kids explore and enjoy it. The sensory activities are thoughtfully planned and have been a hit with our youngest, who has also been getting gentle help to stop sucking her fingers.
Special shoutout to Ms. Torri, Ms. Shelly, and Ms. Ashley for working with our oldest on potty training earlier than many programs might, which made such a difference for our family. And special shoutout to Ms. Julie helping our youngest get fingers out of her mouth - a tough task. Last shoutout, to Ms. Yoselin who is the most friendly, warm, and welcoming each morning when we drop off our youngest - truly makes my day as well.
The hours are very accommodating for working families, which has been a huge help. Overall, The Learning Tree is an great place where our kids have thrived, and we are happy to be a part of this community!

I want to give a shout out to Ms Jackie and Ms. Kara. We have had Ms. Jackie for my oldest and now youngest and just love her. My daughters always expressed love her. She is fun and nurturing. Ms. Kara is sweet and my daughter's says she is excited to see both of them on the days she goes.

My son is in classroom Number 7 and he loves going in there. This is the first year for us at Learning tree and I don’t have any complaints so far. The structure and care provided here are great!! Eventhough my son had a rough start, the teachers Ms. Laura and Ms. Jessy are very warm and approachable, he eventually felt welcomed. They create various activities for kids, so they can explore and choose what interests them. Overall I’m very happy with the experience and really appreciate all the teachers and staff at the Learning Tree west. Thank you for all that you do!!

Exceptional Care and Education in Classroom Number 3!
I am thrilled to share my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible teachers Natasha, Heather, Donna, and Amy in Classroom Number 3 at my sons daycare. Their dedication and passion for early childhood education shine through in everything they do.
From the moment my child stepped into the classroom, it was clear that they were in a nurturing environment. The teachers are not only skilled educators but also warm and approachable, making every child feel valued and loved. They create engaging activities that spark curiosity and encourage exploration, allowing the children to learn through play.
I am particularly impressed by their ability to foster a sense of community among the children. They promote teamwork and kindness, helping the little ones develop important social skills. Communication with parents is also excellent; the teachers provide regular updates on my child's progress and share delightful anecdotes that bring a smile to my face.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with the experience my child is having in Classroom Number 3. I wholeheartedly recommend these wonderful teachers, and daycare as a whole, to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and enriching environment for their little ones. Thank you for all that you do!

Learning Tree Elgin West on Royal st was the one that I have put all of my 3 kids there. From my experience, they are the best daycare in the area. Their system is well structured. The teachers are more experienced. The daycare itself each day is sparkling. That alone stands out a lot already which tells me their high quality of putting kids first especially for their hygiene. Each individual class room are very clean and well maintained every single day. Mrs. Melissa always stay in positive mode and helpful in any kind of issues. Teachers are kind and helpful. Love these people and love this place so much!
