Waiting in lane for more then 40 minutes really and guy said he doesn’t have anyone can call you guy have to hire more peoples guy at front so mean and very slow he doesn’t care about anyone i think he doesn’t need anything what’s he is doing

Trying to locate a package for redelivery & spoke to a real RUDE person (3:50pm) & he didn't want to cooperate at all & didn't want to help & hung up on me ! What a real jerk !

In all my experiences with this location I have never had a positive visit. ALL staff is rude and always seems to be in a bad mood, not welcoming what so ever. I always try to choose UPS but unfortunately today I couldn’t.

I’m honestly surprised by all the negative reviews, as thankfully, I’ve never had a bad experience here. I’ve been coming for years, and while the queues and waiting times can be a bit long, I’ve always received excellent service from the only one teller working. The postal service clerk handles everything professionally and efficiently. The place might not be spick and span, but it’s still worth popping back to whenever neccessary.

The mail lady in south Elgin constantly picking with me I was sitting in my car at the end of my driveway waiting on her to finish putting the mail in the mailbox before I got out the car to retrieve my mail and she started taking pictures of me. I had issues either this lady got 5 years straight made a couple complaints and she just doesn’t stop she stated before I don’t care if you tell I’m about to retire anyways that was like 3 years ago. I wish they change or route or let her out of this job because she can’t be happy with the job let alone herself. How much does a person have to take.

Terrible service. Workers are rude and make you wait in line 3 times. No one to help you. I will be contacting the manager because the worker laughed at me and caught an attitude. Bald dude who works there needs to find a new job people are just trynna ship their packages, not that deep

The guy Vince working there assisted me during checkout and told me to “step aside & go back to the end of the line” while I was filling out an address on an envelope that took 10 seconds. Nah bud I don’t think I will just admit you don’t like White people. Dude has a terrible attitude.

The post office is in Elgin, Kane county on Randall Rd. does not deserve praise. Such a website should help people, not ignore them.
At 3:45 pm 01/31/25. An unpleasant woman with curly hair at the window did not accept my letter. I had a ready-made envelope with a stamp, but she did not want to accept it because she said that the mailboxes were outside.
I pointed out to her that the bill was already late and needed to be sent as soon as possible.
The postman who delivers mail often puts parcels in other boxes for neighbors. My neighbor brought me all the mail, but not at once because he was away from home for two weeks.
.The postman has made such mistakes several dozen times over the ten years that I have lived in Elgin Kane County. He delivers mail to the wrong addresses, sometimes with important documents containing important personal data.
They should be ashamed that such a large institution in the USA has a poor opinion, 2 stars on GOOGLE and 1 star on YELP. I wonder if it's because these people take drugs or they are such losers.

Had to get a package that they never attempted to deliver. Went during open hours on Wednesday 1/8/25 at 9, 9:30, 10:30 and no staff showed up.

Wouldn’t expect anything more. Zero costumer service skills. Needed a piece of tape; says I have to buy it. Okay sure. I buy a roll of tape and say “you can use this for anyone else that needs tape.” He says “no we don’t need it” and throws it out.

First of all whoever that man with the earrings working there who got a bad lil attitude needs to reevaluate his career path. He was not only rude but he wants to make slick little comments. i wanted to drop off a small package and also purchase packing tape. I let him know i wanted to do so, he says “i can just ring it as one transaction” and i say “okay that’s fine” he proceeds to blank stare at me for 5 seconds, shake his head and say “whatever we’ll just do 2 separate transactions” so i then say “um alright” and he shakes his head and as im taping my envelope down which took 2 seconds he says “see this is what i tried to avoid because now you’re holding up the line” and i then say “okay well i said it was fine to do 1 whole transaction you decided to say no and ring it as 2” he laughs and shakes his head i ask for my receipt and i left. He was WAY too grown to be acting that way.

The staff are effecient and helpful. All my questions are always answered and they are patient. The facility is clean, easy parking, no lines.
