Not too bad of a supermarket. But, their produce is lousy at best. Their prices are comparatively reasonable. They seem disorganized. Mediocre selection of products. Stockers are all over the place mid-morning. This should be done previous to opening.

They are just so rude here. UGH hate coming here so I avoid it all costs. But if I am nearby and don't wanna make the hike I torture myself and end up coming here. The produce is ok sometimes. So I tend to just get other items, like nothing fresh that is. Because it's not fresh. Anyways avoid it if you can.

Most of the staff are unfriendly. No greeting by the majority of the cashiers and a "thank you" is very seldom. Young cashiers there with very little respect for their patrons who keep them in business and managers who don't train properly or care that the shoppers are treated in this poor manor.

I'm slowly coming around to not despising this place. Cheap prices. Decent selection of fruit, poor selection of veggies. Not a huge variety of meat, but priced right. It's no frills, but it gets the job done when I don't want to drive to a Mariano's or need a few basic items.

I have been going here since I moved to elgin 1 year ago and although I love the specials I find if you don't read the sign with a magnifying glass - down to making sure the sign is on correct product not the product tucked to the side so you buy the more expensive one - you won't find out till you either watch everything being rang up or check receipt when you leave which for me has been to many times I'm sorry to say. Of course calling store to find out I made the mistake just adds to my aggravation- this happens to many times so I wanted to give a "heads up" to all review readers that it might help them
