Husband accidentally left a bag of paid for items at the register. When he called to ask about it they were very rude to him. We never got our items we paid for.

The cashiers are so painfully slow even when there's a lot of customers. It's like they have competitions to see who can be the slowest worker here. The self checkout is almost never open so why even have it in the first place?

A wonderful place to shop with lots of useful things. Today, I got a nice nose hair trimmer, some pork rinds, and vitamins all at reasonable prices. They used to have these great imported chocolate cookies for one dollar, not anymore though so I deducted a star. And I've always found the staff at this store to be helpful and nice, maybe some customers just have a bad attitude.

I wish I could give zero stars. Never in my life have I been treated in such a way. There is a new blonde girl with glasses working the register now. She took care of the two people in line before me just fine. Saw me walk up and turned around walked away and began restocking shelves three isles over... when another customer came up behind me she agnolaged them and came back. She was not pleased to see me in line and ready to go. No hello, no sorry, nothing. I should have left my groceries on the counter and walked out. I don't want to go all the way to Galena but I will...so long as this person is working there I will no longer shop at this location and I own a business in town....

I had been a customer of Dollar General in Elizabeth since it opened it's doors and yesterday was refused service by the manager. When I asked why she claimed because I had 'kicked her out' of a food establishment that I work at. I informed her that I have never kicked her out and she reminded me of incident that she came in for food and I told her the kitchen was closed, which it was. I thought it was very unprofessional to use a personal and ridiculous vengeance against me to refuse to let me make my purchases at the Dollar General. She said she was the manager and had the right to refuse service to anyone and wanted me to leave, which I politely did. It's a shame that I will no longer be be a patron at that store. No one should be refused service for something that had nothing to do with the store or its employees. I don't expect any business to open their business back up after it's closed just for me and don't understand why anyone else would.

Corporate really needs to speak with the loud, rude and plain mean manager before she physically hurts someone, not just verbally abuses them like she does all customers that get on her bad side-which is most customers it seems like.

Quick and convenient. Great for grabbing little things here and there. My son is always happy to see Jess, she seems to do really good with kids. Very friendly staff.

Jessica is the worst! She refused to take the sensor off of pants that I bought. She told me to go to a different dollar general and that her boss was on the phone and could hear everything I was saying and that she could refuse service. Elizabeth doesn’t need idiots like her. I hope she gets fired

Staff at this store has always been so very helpful. I'm not from the area or familiar with Dollar General and they've been very good about helping me find things. Interesting the selection of products they have. They've packed quite a lot in a small space!
