“This is the only place to purchase Lanzi Carnel nut chew candy. I called a bunch of different stores and nobody knew what I was talking about. I will definitely be back as the store has alot of random things wives live to buy. The person at this location (wish I asked for her name) extremely helpful and made my experience very nice. A gem to visit if your in Elmhurst!!!!”

“Wow. There are no words to describe how spectacular this shop is. Cheryl and Margy took care of me the moment I walked through the door and made me feel like one of their own! I had so much fun shopping and browsing all of the amazing selections. This shop is one of a kind with customer service that cannot be topped. Best of the best!”

“Alan upholstery shop in Westchester is a rare store that still believes in craftsmanship, customer service and designer detailing. Whether it's wood, fabrics or total redesigning of an old piece of furniture, do yourself a favor and go check out what they do. Angel (master craftsman) is all about aesthetics, quality and creating the best "look/feel" for you home or office. I had chairs reupholstered and I purchased furniture that have become center pieces for my home. Simply the best. - John Calerway”

“Not just the manager, but the customer service of the mall were both so incredibly helpful and accomodating. They went above and beyond to help me attain what I needed all through over the state phone calls. I recommend this mall to anyone and everyone nearby. They are very friendly and willing to help. Thank you so much Jackson Square!!!”

“Great little consignment store. All the proceeds go back to charity which is wonderful. The items they stock always seem to be very high quality but at amazing prices. the staff is all volunteers and they are the nicest happiest group ever. So much fun to come in here and explore for hidden treasures.”

“This is an unmitigated positive experience from start to finish. The exquisite collection of jewelry is a never-ending joy to look through as it spans design eras, offering near limitless choices. The staff and owners know more than seemingly possible and there kindness and patience are always at the ready. I've been shopping here for more than a decade and will continue to do so.”

“The gentleman that owns the business refinished my table and China cabinet. Both were beat up and given to me. He did an amazing job. Was reasonable about price and professional. I would recommend to anyone.”

“This is a bizarre review because while I love this place, I also hate it:( This place is huge! Don't come with a group of people of a stroller because the booths and aisles are narrow. This is definitely the kind of place that rents dedicated spots to dealers- some decorate and curate their spaces so beautifully! Everything is tagged ands easily accessible. Other booths are crap on top of crap on top of crap - steer clear of those unless you WANT to dig! It's such an odd pairing of booths where the dealers clearly have an eye and keep up with their space/things... and then some booths that are dirty/dusty/jam packed with "stuff". Of the booths that are locked, it's fairly easy to find a volunteer worker (they roam around a bit so don't get uncomfortable) to open the case. Everyone seems helpful too! They all seem to want to see their dealer friends selling their things! Everyone that works there is also older, so there's not really a sense of urgency. I prefer to shop curated antiques rather than dig through dirt- this place has both! Also be sure to shop the bathroom too! So many mirrors for sale!”

“Tired of following signs that advertise 'ANTIQUES' only to find a buiding full of Beanie Babies, 1970s kitchenware, and your high school yearbook? Sign of the Whale offers none of that. What you will find are authentic antiques - not reproductions - pleasingly displayed in a clean and organized setting. The owners are knowledgeable and friendly and I'll be stopping there whenever I am near Glen Ellyn.”

“I've been on the hunt for a certain size lamp and stumbled on Treasure House. What a GEM! Everyone that works here is a volunteer and all donations are priced very very (very) reasonably. All proceeds go towards an organization that provides mental health to people in the community. Aside from all the GOOD stuff about the who/how, the actual donated merchandise is also SO GOOD! The art! The clothes! The glassware! The jewelry! The collectibles! Everything is curated nicely and clearly priced. Prices are to move - they even have a little area with baskets where you can put your things "on hold" while you go try things on. The music was also fun. I was humming along to all the songs! Parking is very easy right out front now that all that messy construction is gone! What a literal treasure to find this place!”

“You never know what you’ll discover at Forest Park Emporium! Today this Halloween tree, 34 inches tall! I added the ornaments, lights and the spiderweb scarf. Also this 1993 Trendmasters Halloween Foam Blow Mold Jack o’ Lantern, excellent condition. So dramatic, so vintage, so Halloween ?”

“Need the perfect antique frame for that beautiful painting/photograph? This is the place to go! This little store has been around for decades, and yet, I feel as if many people don't even realize it's there or what treasures are inside. Family-owned and operated, the store holds hundreds upon thousands of antique picture frames of varying sizes (3" x 5" up to a few feet!) and shapes (mainly squares, rectangles, and ovals). Only a small percent of the frames are shown in the front showrooms, but ask, and more from the large backroom can be brought out for your viewing. Mirrors are also available, as well as a collection of framed artwork, prints, watercolors, engravings, and more to add some extra class to your home or business. Occasionally, you can find a 'famous' painting or picture frame on the walls. They also have a website where you can choose from a quality online selection.Appointments are preferred, but the shop owner is more than happy to show you frames, restore your frames, and help you with other antique framing needs. Prices are also very reasonable. He also makes sure you are satisfied with your frames/purchases. I highly recommend this place. You won't get the personal touch and dedication on a frame from anyone else.”

“I had a great experience here. I brought my wedding band (white gold) and engagement ring (white gold with .75 carat princess cut diamond) (I’m divorced), two beautiful necklaces (white gold with a beautiful amethyst in one and a lovely blue topaz in the other), and a pair of white gold diamond chip earrings.I had previously looked into a pawn shop and they totally low balled me. I mean they really tried to take advantage.Americash did me right. The gemologist there looked over my pieces very carefully and gave me a great price. So much higher, more reasonable and appropriate for the nice things I was selling.I recommend them 100% if you need to sell jewelry and get the most you can get - it’s based on the weight of the metals and they looked over my precious and semi precious stones very carefully. So grateful!”

“Fun place to spend some time walking around hunting for unique items. You don’t come here looking for something, the store tells you what you need! Found an awesome solid oak coat rack with an old “Property of Cook County” tag on it, and a cool newspaper clipping from the old Rock Island Railway. Deb knew exactly where this piece was hanging up and the story behind it, makes it that much cooler. Would love to see some of the slower moving (kitchen/commercial/restaurant) items cleared out and the boxed items displayed or made more visible. I’m sure there’s some real treasures hiding in this place.”
