Love this bank. They were super accommodating in their efforts to complete an item on my bucket list. I especially appreciate the spectacular work of Maryann Calkins.

Have used this bank for over nine years. It has been a great experience. I especially like how helpful they were with my strange bucket list request. Maryann Calkins was extremely pleasant and helpful.

this review is based on research and testimony from people that leads me to try to help others with my knowledge...i suggest you do research on weather or not this bank allowed your boss to use your private ssn, to fund their pockets and forgave it, in order to forgive this 60% of payroll had to be given to employees or it violates sec 3729, CBE knows of this fraud, that isnt to say the owner didnt falsify records but once alerted you dont report it? maybe thats because there is more on the part of Community Bank of Elmhurst, not sure why else they would protect sba fraud they personally forgave, many elmhurst businesses were given $1,000,000 and up in ppp loans. It would appear that PPP loans were corrupt on all levels from sba, banks, to business owners, the attorney general and inspector general, along with the treasury dept is the way to go in terms of action.

Do not use their ATM. It doesn't return your card before you get the money. I accidentally left my card in the ATM, recognized it in few minutes, but the card was gone. I entered the bank , asked for my card. Was treated very rudely and was told that since I wasn't a regular customer, they wouldn't return my card. You'd think it would be the neighborly thing to do, since I own the building next to them. They can rest assured that our business will never use their bank, and I'll spread the word to everyone I know. Very rude woman on duty today.. Their building front is not close to being disabled access. I've had many knee surgeries, and almost fell in the front. That would have been a huge lawsuit

I have been a Community Bank of Elmhurst customer for 19 years and have had nothing but the best service from the best people. They gave me the mortgage on my business building 19 years ago, have loaned money to me for many vehicles and always provide the highest level of service. Today, during this crisis, they loaned money to me under the CARES Act so I can keep the doors to my business open (virtually) and to keep my valued employees on the payroll. Thank you Community Bank of Elmhurst!

Great bank to do business with! Its refreshing to go to a bank where the employees have been there for years. They know you and can help you solve your problem. You get in and out quick!

I went into this bank to have a document notarized but it took a moment for someone to approach me. A group of reps was grouped and having acheerful conversation while ignoring a customer who just walked in. However, a senior rep came out from the back to help answer my questions. I was turned away from the bank because I did not have an account with them. So, I could not get a document notarized.

Their website has a page called "The Three Amigos", where they show pictures of people wearing sombreros and other ethnic garb. Cultural appropriation is offensive to minorities and shall not be tolerated in Elmhurst. They also blocked a local resident and non-profit group from showing a documentary on sustainable living. Community banks exist to serve the entire community, not to take sides or engage in political speech.

MANY years ago, I had my 1st saving account as a child at your bank. I am disappointed you let some local politicians steamroll you into canceling the Hoop House documentary. As a "community" bank, you should serve all of the community in an unbiased fashion. The room was rented with full knowledge of the subject to be discussed. Such a shame you didn't host the documentary and listen to the speakers with an open mind. You might have learned some valuable things about gardening and growing healthy food. In the process, you might have picked up some new customers that attended that event. FYI - the majority of the city is in favor of personal gardening and the temporary use of hoop houses.

I'm glad that I don't have an account with you guys and now never will. Canceling the Hoop House documentary shows how spineless and uneducated everyone at that bank is. If you really understood the importance of an individual's right to grow their own food, you wouldn't have done this. Please do some research before blindly following the word of the Elmhurst government.

Great community bank. They service all your checking, savings and other banking needs, plus they are a great lender for both owner occupied as well as investment properties. Their loan fees and rates are extremely good, and unlike the large national banks, CBE realizes not everyone has the same situation and they will design a loan specifically for your needs. I have been working with them for just about 10 years and I have never been dispointed wth any account or loan I have taken with them. Mark, Joe, Dina, Helen, John, are just a few of their first class staff. They are all extremely professional, yet treat you like an old friend. They will be my bank and lender till retirement which because of their advice and help over the years will come sooner then expected. My company would not be where it is today without Community Bank Of Elmhurst believing in us, and enabling us to grow and move forward. Keep up the great work guys, and thank you for everything. Every one has decent to exceptional customer service here except Toni. I do not understand why.....in particular when I go there she is always cold to me. I have caught her being nice to other people, numerous times. She has a very bad attitude for someone working at a bank with my money it. I will never deposit another check here again. She should be working at a DMV.
