Initially I was helped with a nice staff Thomas who said I have to pay 1 week for insurance of the rental car + deposit. Then 3 days later I was charged for another 17 days in advance because the car insurance agreed to pay to fix my car and they have “permission to charge until cetain dates. However they didnt notify me. They charged my card and stated some staff left me a message about the new charges. That was a lie. No miss call or message at all. Is that legal to charge your card without your consent?

Helpful staff, feels like pricing is always a negotiation at every rental car place. Upgrades, price packages will sometimes break your way and sometimes won’t.

Lack of details as far as my rental and my $300 deposit made it very frustrating. Mikal or whatever his name was made it seem like it was an issue when I called with questions, he has a very sassy & snarky attitude, I wouldn’t recommend this specific location at all if your looking for good consistent customer service or are new to renting vehicles they will make you feel like a burden for calling & being confused. He also changed giving me my deposit simply because he “didn’t want to move all that money around”. What professional fails to communicate that with the customer? Having me wait for a deposit that was never coming because of poor communication.

We used the N. York Rd. Location in Elmhurst, IL.Ours was an insurance rental but I have to say that all the employees went above and beyond!They took their time explaining all the features of the rental to my wife making sure she was comfortable as she would be needing it for 2 weeks.1 of the best rental agencies we've ever been to.Return was a breeze, in and out.

They gave me an unsafe car (found out after a couple of days); verbalized my concern to multiple locations so that vehicle can be replaced or swapped -- refused all the time -- saying no available vehicles. Up until I called the 7th location after 2 days that I was advised to call road side assistance in order to be helped properly and safely as per that employee, safety is a major concern for enterprise -- apparently not all uphold such integrity.I was charged for 2 days (weekend) even though rental vehicle was left at body shop (where they normally pick up rental after car was fixed). I asked for explanation as to why my security deposit was not refunded, was told manager will explain (they used it for that weekend which was not my fault why did not pick up the rental when it was dropped off) no call.This is the worst experience I have had (Elmhurst, IL) in this location.I commend Westmont, IL location for advising me to call roadside assistance -- they actually cared unlike Elmhurst, Brookfield, Stone Park locations.

We recently rented a van and Nina, the manager, did a great job explaining our options and helping us. She provided exceptional customer service and was very pleasant to work with. And the van is great too! Very pleased, highly recommended!!

Usually you are dreading going into rent a car place to rent a car or truck. I must say the the manager of the Enterprise, whose name is Nina really comes across extremely informative, making the rental of a van a breeze. She makes the process easy and fast, plus she’s very funny. Would rent again in a heartbeat.

The worst service. They cheat you with the insurance, they don’t take your insurance. And they charge you three time you total bill as insurance to cover your rental. If you reject you will not get your money that you paid on your credit card even though you didn’t take the car. This car rental is not to be trusted.

Really had a great experience with renting a van at the Elmhurst facility. Nina, the manager made the experience fast and provided all the information with renting the van in a very professional yet funny way. Would recommend this location.

This was my preferred Enterprise. I will NEVER rent from them again. Everyone was nice except the store manager, Nina. They were an hour and half late picking me up.. No problem let it go, but the rude customer service from have the last word Nina... Unacceptable! Don't question her or she gets all upset and definitely don't read a policy off the web page proving she's wrong, because she won't rent to you. Don't expect a call back from the regional manager either!

Gabriel's customer service is fantastic, you can tell he really cares about his customers! I was in a rush and booked my car just 20 minutes before arriving at the location, they didnt have the car available and even though they were busy, Gabriel and team got more cars brought over quickly and got me out of there faster than I thought possible! I've been an enterprise member for a long time and it's times and people like these that make the difference.

I rent cars at least 2-3 times a year I have a car however she’s old and I just can’t afford to put more miles on her especially on long drives. This is my second or third time renting from this particular enterprise and it’s always an experience. This time I called to see if I could come in earlier and the representative told me I couldn’t because there were renters that were also renting the type of vehicle I wanted with earlier times, so I said okay no biggie; never been an issue before. The rental smelled like cigarettes (I’m not a smoker), the gas cap was broken (can be hazardous on the highway), the tires were not filled or checked so I kept being alerted, I could go on but I won’t. The representative when I dropped off asked why I said “good” not “great” in regards to the rental and when I started to speak she didn’t seem like she was listening. She apologized and gave me $50 off. I probably won’t rent from here again unless the price is considerably lower then the Enterprise in Park Ridge, which is my preferred rental store.
