Extremely friendly and professional staff. If you're looking for a great personal trainer look for Chris and if you need help signing up talk to Hennessy :)

Rising prices with no included amenities. Extremely small weight lifting area with certain adults that hog specific machines and think they’re entitled because they’re there everyday. Add that to the day care the club runs after school where York kids come to hang out, rough house, and make TikTok’s.

Used to love it here, but prices have gone up while the hours have been cut back. 8pm is WAY too early to close. Used to be open until midnight

Euh! It kills me not to give this place 5 stars because I really do enjoy it here. PROS* - great location - plenty of parking (provided by the city of Elmhurst, not the gym it self) - cleanliness, specifically the locker rooms. They are always spotless (the hot tub gets kinda gross though. It should be checked more frequently) - the staff, the staff is absolutely amazing! - basketball court is a huge plus - rooftop pool/bar in the summer - great options in group classes - very reasonable business hours - phenomenal masseuses, love their spa - the trainers! They're all so approachable and friendly - 2 guest passes a month. I don't necessarily use them, but in the summer they definitely come in handy :) okay, now for the CONS*. Which seems to be getting worse... - increasing of the membership. Its starting to get out of hand. Nothing has really changed/updated since they opened 3/4 years ago and the monthly dues just keep increasing -THE TEENAGERS!!! Omg, its ridiculous. I feel like I'm at a high school party and having to watch these kids hurt themselves with equipment with no gym etiquette. I can't count how many times I've been pushed out of an area because they bombarded my personal space. I've watched these kids punch each other on the turf with boxing equipment and get stuck under weight bars because they try to do heavy weights. It looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen. I already had to help out in two separate incidents because of these kids putting themselves in dangerous situations. And don't get me started what I've witnessed in the basketball court. I don't understand how come there isn't an age limit. Mark my words, something serious is going to happen where one of these kids are going to get severely hurt and it's going to be too late. - rules aren't enforced. There are signs all over about not dropping the weights and OMG when someone is dropping large amount of weights (deadlifting) upstairs on the turf it literally rattles the entire gym. The whole ground shakes and it seriously ruins your workout. Especially when it's practically empty in there, you really feel it. - Now for the grosses con of all... There is a young man that works out around the entire gym with no shoes AND no socks. Yup! just barefooted. He goes on the treadmill, jumps on the boxes, etc etc with bare feet. And doesn't bother to wipe down anything he uses afterwards. I can't tell you how many times I gag when I'm trying to do ab workouts or anything that involves my face being on ground level on the turf and I have to deal with someone's nasty stinky feet walk pass my face. And yes, they do smell... BAD! I pay way too much money a month to have to deal with that. Its absolutely disgusting. This isn't xsport, and I shouldn't have to be put in the position of having to say anything. That is the staff's place. And they don't seem to care. I pay as much as I do for a gym like this in Elmhurst because I expect there are standards. Including with fellow members. However, lately it seems like the expectations are quickly declining. Overall, its a great gym. However, with these increasing monthly membership costs with no changes is starting to become a real disappointment. I pay way too much money to deal with all these kids running around and with members acting like they're in freakin xsport. If things don't change by the summer and prices keep increasing, my family and I will most likely cancel and go to lifetime.

They keep catering to little kids. This the York High School gym and it costs nearly $100 bucks per month.

I wish I was able to experience this gym more than once before making a decision for membership. I love this location, and was intrigued in numerous classes. Cleanliness was great and staff was super friendly and helpful.

I’d sign up again if they were open later hours. Ten pm is way to early to close for those that work long days and want to come home to spend time with family. I like hitting the gym at 10 pm for us late night kinda of person we are.

I love FFC! It's always clean, so many options for working out, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I mostly use the pool, which is clean and kept at the perfect temp for swimming laps - right around 80 degrees.

The folks at this gym are first class individuals. The staff takes their job seriously and treat everybody with respect.

I've tried alot of gyms in my workout journey, from the cheapest to the most expensive. This is the most expensive gym membership I have ever gotten and the reason being is because I wanted to reduce the chances of having a packed time at the gym, whether that's in the morning or night. I currently go at 6 am and while it is a little busy at this time, surrounding yourself with people here ( who are in great shape ) give you the motivation to try harder. That's men and women who are here to achieve goals or stay in shape. I haven't really seen anyone who seemed like a meathead because this environment isn't really made for that. The staff here, from who I met, are great! Ive gotten trained in boxing by Joe which was a pretty difficult workout. He is, unfortunately and fortunately, now fitness director so training with him may be difficult. Gym equipment is always in service except a few exceptions which was fixed by the next day. All the equipment is top of the line also. All treadmills are life fitness brand and have screens. They have a total of 8 stairmasters, a Jacobs ladder, 2 fan bikes, 5 row machines, and 2 self propelled treadmills. While I'm writing this review, they are also expanding by adding more squat racks. Currently, they have 2 hard wood powerlifting sections and a squat rack on the bottom floor. On the 2nd floor, they have 2 squat racks. As for services, the 3rd floor is where the locker room, indoor pool, BAR, and outdoor pool are. Yup, I said bar. At first, I thought this was a weird thing to have in a gym but, apparently during the summer, they have pool parties which is kinda cool. Unfortunately, I've never gotten a massage or anything of that matter from here. The reason why I took away a star - -It's expensive ( I pay $100 a month ) -I had one bad incident with staff as they thought I was just trying to use the bathroom as I might not be ffc material but, after I checked in, they showed me where it was. -Sometimes there are a decent amount of teens here who have no gym etiquette.

Absolutely love this gym!! I have everything I need and more. I feel comfortable here and really met my goals! Only thing that’s difficult is how early they close. With my schedule I haven’t been able to make it to the gym due to it closing so early. I really wish they would be open later.

I love FFC. I love how clean and ample the physical environment is, while Management is sensitive to hear and take into action any concerns and/or recommendations. Not to mention, Jamie and Scott; always going out of their way, to make my husband and I feel welcome. I highly recommend FFC!!!!

Great facilities, well kept. Very good group exercise classes. Try Paula's Body Blast if you're in need of a great weight/ core/ cardio combo, or her Power Yoga if you want to be challenged. Steam room, lap pool, spa and bar. If you're in the Elmhurst area, it's the best one around.

I went here to grab a healthy lunch. The middle aged lady behind the front desk wouldn’t let me use the restroom to wash my hands before I ate. There are plenty of places to go in elmhurst where you won’t find rude staff like here.

Best Health Club in the Midwest! Been an active member for the last ten months and my wife and I love FFC. The trainers and staff are top notch. Two pools and state of the equipment, means a great workout for you. Super experience.
