I have had multiple repairs by Gerber Collision in Elmhurst and every repair has been perfect and they send progress reports often, so you know when your vehicle is ready...and it is usually ready early. I certainly recommend Gerber in Elmhurst.

Easy access to this facility. Ample free parking lot for repair services. The employees working the phones and office were very nice, welcoming and professional. The facility has a waiting area that was clean, well kept up and included an available restroom if needed while waiting for repair services to finish. As far as the service on replacing my vehicles windshield, spot on, top notch service.

The folks at Gerber Elmhurst are top notch professionals and Dominic, our estimator was efficient and just nice.
We had rear collision damage on our Honda Pilot and Dominic's team repaired our Honda in ten days, two days sooner than initially estimated. The quality of the work is first class. Perfect fit and finish. They washed the whole car and vacuum-cleaned the inside, our car hasn't been this clean in a long time.
Additionally Dominic kept us updated throughout the repair process through text updates. He also provided prompt answers to a couple of questions I had via text.
In summary Dominic and his team at Gerber Elmhurst made quick work of repairing our Honda Pilot and getting it back to us in perfect and clean shape!

Part of my bumper had come loose so I went in for an estimate. It was nothing major, but I expected to pay for at least a hour of labor and the cost of parts. The manager/estimator on duty (unfortunately I forgot to get his name) said he could have someone on his team look at my car right now. He drove my car around to the back of the building and reappeared in about ten minutes. One of the repairmen was able to get the bumper secured and I wasn’t charged. That is outstanding service as he could have easily scheduled me for an appointment and billed me a few hundred dollars without me ever knowing how quickly they were able to repair my car. They are a professional team and I would highly recommend checking them out if you’re in need of any bodywork.

Went there to get an estimate on a small repair work. They guy who came out wasn't Mr. friendly. He said at the end he would email me the estimate. Never got to my inbox. I knew better than to go to a chain body shop.
Went to a competitor. He was friendly, explained all the work that needed to be done, and I had an estimate in hand when I left. That's how business is supposed to be done.
When I see repeated messages back from the owner regarding negative comments, and nothing seems to be corrected, it tells me that management doesn't care about you, the customer. That's the way I felt.
Find another body shop. AVOID!!

Walked in and both the receptionist and dispatcher were very helpful and wanted to help me and give me the best price. Was able to save over 50% of what the competitor was willing to do and was able to squeeze in a front windshield replacement in a matter of a few days right in my driveway. Appreciate these ladies going the extra mile and helping my family and I out!
