I had to wait in the checkout line with 9 people ahead of me making purchases, so that I could return 1 item. This is the Kohl's in Elmhurst on 83. They moved the customer service department from the back of the store, to the front, where all the registers are to make purchases. Yet, Amazon has it's own return area. This was not a good decision. I planned on running in and out, so much for that. Returns and purchases don't belong together.

It seems no matter when you shop at this particular store, there's ALWAYS a line for the checkouts, and they CRAWL. Ever. So. Painstakingly. Slowly. You are already getting my money, so why don't you value my time? Particularly when actually with a cashier at a counter! I appreciate your friendliness, but DANG...why are you all so slow in the process? (This is irrespective of WHO I have over repeated visits). You have to ask about a charge card (I have), then it's looking at everything (and having to comment on what I'm buying), and then it's drilling me about my Rewards points, and then if I want to use my Kohls Charge card for this purchase, to then messing around with my coupon/rewards not scanning or registering, and then talking more about when my Kohl's cash may be used and where...good grief. Why can't the checkout procedure at Kohls just be efficient and pleasant and not a cross-examination and pry into my decisions on how to spend my money? MY TIME is not for YOU to suck from my days.
