rude, and passive aggressive "jokes" idk it doesn't cost money to not be rude :) also downplayed my symptoms cus I think she thinks I'm just there to have an excuse to leave for work... and it's funny because I've been given a doctors note from a cold without any doubt from my original doctor and minus the rude comments lol like sorry for being neurodivergent

I received excellent care by both the nurse practitioner and the other medical staff member, on 3/19/24. Both were respectful, kind and efficient. I needed a strep test and was able to get a same day appointment. I did not have to wait long to be seen. The appointment did not take long but I wasn’t rushed out either. Both the NP and other staff never took their time explaining what was needed and were happy to answer any questions. I highly recommend this CVS minute clinic.

The provider that saw me was rude, unprofessional and lacked customer service skills and the basic knowledge to do her job.I was turned away for not having health insurance when I showed up to my appointment to get tested for COVID. Per CVS website and CDC this location participates in the ICATT program (which is a program that provides no-cost COVID-19 testing for uninsured people that are symptomatic or exposed.) The provider who work here apparently has no training in any of this and demanded insurance from me and stated "I don't make the rules" several times. I had to keep insisting for her to eventually call her boss and figure out a way to process it. Unfortunately not everyone has the knowledge to advocate for themselves nor knows CDC laws and regulations and that federal funds go to CVS for serving the uninsured and providing healthcare access. That is money lost, people underserved, a public health issue, a customer experience issue. This is not a good look for the company. The fact that this employee is not familiar with the knowledge to properly carry out her duties I recommended better hiring and training practices. This has been reported to corporate. Hopefully action is taken on their part.

I called prior to making an appointment they confirmed accepting my child's insurance so I scheduled an appointment. Upon getting there we waited to check in for 10 mins. A staff member asked when my daughters appointment was we were 15 mins early. I told her 5pm and her response was "yeah it says 5pm here, so..."an she turned her back to us. I overheard another employee state a patient name and said they over booked making an appointment for a man and my daughter at the same time. She proceeded to state whoever checks in first will get the appointment. A man came in stated his name, same name as the hippa violating employee announced as overbooked. The staff then said we weren't coming up in the system and they don't take our insurance anyway.

Waited over 10 mins past my appt to be acknowledged despite no other patients present. Provider said she’d be right with me then went away and never came back. I left after standing there for 30 mins. What a waste of time. Won’t be coming back. Sigh.

I had an utterly disheartening experience at the minute clinic, thanks to a lady who found it appropriate to laugh at my health concerns. As a patient seeking medical assistance, I expected empathy and professionalism, but her behavior shattered those expectations. When I shared my symptoms, she burst into laughter, making me feel humiliated and ashamed of my condition. Her insensitivity was not only hurtful but also completely unprofessional. I couldn't believe that someone working in healthcare would treat a patient's worries with such callousness. Her actions left me questioning the clinic's commitment to patient care and compassion. Instead of receiving the help I needed, I was subjected to mockery, creating an environment of embarrassment and discomfort.I sincerely hope that the clinic addresses this issue promptly and takes steps to ensure that no other patient has to endure such a disrespectful and degrading encounter. Laughing at a person's health concerns is never acceptable and should not be tolerated in any medical setting.

Very unhelpful staff, they refused to perform a regular physical unless I got a TB test. But they couldn't even schedule the 2-3 day follow-up for the test so I would have had to wait a week or so. The staff and supervisor clearly did not care about how disrupting this was to me

I made an appointment in advance early yesterday morning. My appointment was at 5:10pm, I checked in about 15 minutes early around 4:45pm. 3 Staff members keep walking past me in the waiting area and not one has asked me about my appointment time or how much longer the wait is. Keep in mind, there are zero other people in the waiting room (for the past forty kinutes Ive been here), and I've only seen one patient enter an exam room. I just came here for a clogged ear. What a waste of time.

I had an appointment for a physical exam and the ladies had quite the personality. I gave the demands to their requests including printing a physical copy of my lab results (despite having a digital version on my phone) in a nearby UPS only to be refused to be given a physical exam due to a single prescription I take. She didn't get my blood pressure. Heck, she never even touched me and all she did was look at a piece of paper! I wasted 3 hours of my time here. I went to a different place for a physical exam and everything was fine and smooth sailing. The minute clinic people have very bad attitudes and I beg you to go to a different place instead.

On April 19, 2023 at 3pm, I went to have earwax removal at CVS minute clinic. The assistant and the nurse practitioner were pressed against me for about 10 minutes. The nurse practitioner’s attitude was a little rude. The assistant was friendly but kind of hard to understand. That evening my husband felt itchy on his ankle and thought it was dry skin. That night around 3 am I felt itchy and found 3 small raised red spots on my body. 2 days later my husband showed me his ankle it had 2 small bumps. A week after that I made the bed then went to kitchen and felt itchy on back of ankle. I looked and there was a small bug on my sock! I squeezed and blood came out! I saved it in a plastic bag. Terminex came and did high heat treatment 5 days later at a cost of $1,000.The Terminex guy looked at my bug and said that’s definitely a bedbug. I have never had bedbugs in my life. Since then no more bites. Can’t prove it was from CVS but sure sure is suspicious.

So here is my story:Per the jurisdiction of the country I was planning on visiting, I had to perform a Covid-19 PCR test within a 72-hour window prior to departure. My flight was scheduled for 4/23 so I scheduled the test on 4/20 (70 hours prior to my flight). I performed the test and placed the sample into the white box located in the drive-thru per the instructions. It took a full 2 1/2 days to get a message stating that my sample was picked up and going to the lab. Even before this, I stopped by the CVS to see why it was taking so long to get a result back since I needed a 'negative' test to fly. The staff and the NP (Nurse Practitioner) were no help as they played the "We don't see your Covid test in the system. I don't know what to say because we don't even know the person who performs the tests and it's out of our hands". Needless to say, they were no help and thus had to go to a 24-hour PCR test facility to an expedited test done which costed $139.99 in Des Plaines.Do yourself a favor and don't use this facility for anything timely. You will be disappointed. If you've read this review this far, then I'm guessing you will see other reviews that have rated this place pretty poorly. Going forward, I will limit all business with CVS so that I don't have to have another experience like this again.

Not the best experience with the practitioner. Also, I had an appointment and still had to wait 45 minutes to be seen even though I was the next person in.

One of the best experiences I’ve had. The Physicians assistants are genuine, nice, caring people who do their best to make sure you are taken care of. I felt completely comfortable here and would recommend this place to anyone in need! Thanks for healing me!
