The nicest Starbucks staff. Happy holidays to all the staff working on 11/30!

I don’t know what they’re doing or if it’s just because they’re in a hospital. But their drinks have no flavor.

Always ask for light ice in my iced drinks because I sip it throughout my shift and by the time I finish, too much ice means watered down and gross. Asked for light ice today and received the cup filled to the brim with ice and less than 8 oz of coffee. That was a little upsetting. Majority of staff is usually nice. Today didn’t feel that way.

It's very handy to have a Starbucks inside Elmhurst Hospital. This one is very tidy, warm and comfortable with a couple of big tables and a few cozy leather chairs. No wait. Super pleasant barista. Well-stocked selection of items to buy. Quiet, comfortable and cozy.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I've never had a bad experience at this location. The employees are always friendly, and as far as I'm concerned the customer service is tops.

So I have been staying here with my mom at elmhurst for a week or so now. Got 2 know the 2 amazing women who work the day shift. They are always asking about mom and just do little touches like this that bring up your spirits when you are down. Thank you for having them as they made my visit a little better. I actually get excited to go see them in the morning. Its like they say....you see many but are someone special to 1. And that is me!

60% of the time that I buy something from here, I encounter a problem. Most of the staff that works here (with the exception of a few) have a really bad attitude. You may ask yourself, "why doesn't she go to a different Starbucks?". Well, I happen to work in the hospital and I frequent it out of convenience. There is one particular barista (I believe her name is Lansy?) who likes to be rude. Management is never on site and they don't appear to have a direct phone line. This location is so different than a typical free-standing Starbucks.

This branch of Starbucks is located on the first floor near the main entrance of the hospital. Hours are limited compared to freestanding shops. It is a full service Starbucks with a good selection of bakery, sandwiches and sweets. Service is very friendly, but they lack the experience of a typical Starbucks. As of lately I've been leaning towards the "medicine ball" as my drink of choice. If you've never had one and enjoy tea, I highly suggest you trying this drink that isn't on the standard menu. Great drink if you're feeling a little under the weather as well. It's half steamed lemonade, half water, peach tranquility tea, jade citrus mint green tea, and honey. As far as the lack of experience, the barista had to keep asking the other employee how to make it. And you can definitely tell from drinking the tea that it isn't nearly as good as the other locations. I understand it isn't a standard drink on the menu, but a fairly common one ordered. If you're at the hospital and want a pick me up, stop in. I'd just stick to the menu items.

Horrible service waited over 32 minutes as my order was given away apparently to the wrong person. I questioned the wait after 30 minutes and was told” I don’t know by the employee” Asked for my money back and was told the only way to get a refund was on a gift card. Asked for a manager and was told that know manager would be available in the store until Tuesday (today is Thursday). Worse Starbucks customer service ever.

Not sure if the people there are new but a white chocolate mocha is not supposed to look like a glass of milk with ice and taste like straight sugar. I wish I could show you a picture. They remade it and added caramel swirl in the cup... thankfully it tastes better but still not what I ordered.

Eight people working and only one person making the drinks explain this.? They take a bunch of orders have everyone waiting for one person to make the drinks. Meanwhile 8 people including the manger are not helping make the drinks! When the cashier tried to help she was stopped. I know this is a hospital, but surely more than one person can make drinks.
