Excellent service, everyone very friendly in all the ovations that I have gone to withdraw money, and any problem that occurs with your account they call you immediately by phone to ask about a certain transaction that is suspicious.

Bank needs to train their employees better. Several times I went there, they either could not answer the questions or gave different answers each time.

This branch has the worst customer service. My mom has an account there, went to make a large deposit of a check and the staff handed her deposit slip and my mom's ID to another customer. This happened in a drive thru within a matter of a few minutes. Nobody was being accountable nor willing to help my mom. My mom asked to speak to a branch manager. The supervisor that came, started being extremely rude to my mom telling my mom that she didn't give them anything, that perhaps somebody had walked by and stole it. The supervisor kept telling my mom that there is nothing the bank could do that they were not responsible. They were even refusing to find a solution for my mom, and refusing to put a hold on my mom's account so that nobody withdrew money. My mom had to put a report with the police. A few hours later, the bank called stating that a customer had returned my mom's ID and slip. The person on the phone told my mom that the customer was apologizing for taking that in an error. Still zero accountability by the supervisor or any bank staff. They handed this to the other customer on the tube! My mom was able to get her ID back but they destroyed her deposit slip for some reason. We will just contact the corporate branch to request a formal written apology so it's documented. People can make mistakes, errors can happen however the abusive tone of voice and harsh words as well as lack of compassion and initiative to find a solution to my mom, makes me wonder if the leadership of this branch is as careless for their employees and it is reflected on the way they treat the customers. Go to the River Forest branch or the two branches in Oak Park. I would travel downtown Chicago to a branch there before ever coming to this branch. This was not the first time they have made a mistake but it certainly the last time they make a mistake for my mom, moreover, it is the last time they speak to my mother in a rude abusive way and with harsh words. If could, I would give them zero stars!

I wish I could give them no stars.Don't deal with this bank unless you want their third party security firm digging around in your life for NO REASON and going into your credit report when you only have a checking account and, don't even use the ATM card ; aren't trying to borrow any money; don't have a lone. When i setup my checking account I setup security questions ,only one of which has ever been used. Online weird questions are asked like which of 4 hospitals are closest to your home and which of 4 streets are closest. They also give 4 names of people and ask who I know. The last time there was a question about the color of my car. I recently bought this car and never told them about it. I paid for it so the claim it was from my credit report is bogus and it certainly wouldn't include the color. At this point I got unnerved when trying to login online and used the wrong password. I knew i did it! I thought I was locked out online so I went to the branch where I opened the account hoping the same person would be there, she wasn't The women at the bank translated this into I forgot my password. I DIDN'T! She didn't know what she was doing and tried to make me reset it. She demanded access to my cellphone. I ended up closing my checking account and called customer service who agreed the questions were weird. Apparently the bank is incapable of controlling their vendor. when I closed the account they didn't ask if I had any outstanding checks. Rude and poor service. Sorry i ever moved my checking account there last May

This place doesn't even deserve a star. I had so many issues when this bank got bought out by Byline. Originally was Oak Park Community Bank and i loved them. However, after being bought out I had multiple issues with my debit card where my debit card wouldn't work and so I called to see what was the problem. They said it was that my chip wasn't connecting to the terminal so I said okay well what can I do then? They told me I could still use it which is stupid because the purpose of my call was that I couldn't use it. And the whole time I'm talking to them, they sound like they're reading off a script. Towards the end of my phone call they told me that i should use the new debit card that was by Byline. I waited to get that card in the mail, about another day or so. Activated that card. KEPT HAVING THE SAME ISSUE but then I tried using my old debit card that was by community bank and that worked. Anyway because of that, I had to keep calling them which is SUPER inconvenient. I would go to the grocery store and my card wouldn't work. I would call them and they would either have me on hold for like 20min, or customer service didn't know a damn thing like they were not trained for that job whatsoever. Or they would be closed. You could understand my frustration here. Most of you would say well why don't you switch banks ? Already done. The service provided by Byline is awful would NOT recommend.

They have the services you need. And they are not unpleasant for any reason. I had the coin jar that took an hour to count. It temporarily jammed the machine. They still didn't kick me in the face for existing, the way many other places would.

Very disappointed from this branch. It took them more than two months to deliver the debit card, the check booklet hasn't even arrived yet. Awful customer service.

If I could give this bank zero stars I would. They have the worst customer service. They create policies one time and then the next time you go the policies change. There is absolutely no consistency. This is the honestly the worst bank I have ever had encountered. My ex husband writes me a child support check twice a month. If I deposit the check in my account it takes Byline 5 days to clear the check. If I go to Byline to cash the check they make me go into the branch and stand there while the tellers act like they have never cashed a check before and call him. When they pretend to not talk to him they tell me sorry I cannot cash this check. You'll need to open an account to cash this check. Mind you I go there twice a month and have for years! After I explain to them I would never bank with such a crap bank they take another 30 minutes of my time and finally cash the check. Sometimes there's a fee sometimes there's not. Its a crap shoot. Honest to god I'm surprised anyone actually banks there.
