Bank is a nice community bank.Tellers seem friendly. The place overall is nice, a bit dated but that adds to its charm.Personal bankers are a bit inflexible when it comes to account security. They still do everything by paper form and by the book. Sadly the book has not been updated since last century. Also did not seem to retain any of our conversation and repeated several questions which were already answered. Seemed like a very robotic interaction, but maybe the banker was just having a hard day.Overall it seems like a good place to support. I an all for locals supporting local banks. Down with too big to fail boa and the like. 3 stars for the averageness. Nothing exceptional service wise but it's a bank.

Ok, the last few times I went to the bank the tellers were extremely friendly. I was greeted by a banker and the security guard as well. And I recently found out something amazing about First Security Bank. They are part of the Star SF (surcharge free) ATM network which means you can use any 7-11 ATM for free as well as ATM's that participate in the Star SF network which includes Wintrust, PNC and US Bank ATM's. On top of that, First Security does not charge any ATM fees. This means if you use a Chase, Bank of America or an ATM at a bar, store, etc. you will only be charged one fee, the one assessed by the ATM. There will not be a foreign ATM fee from First Security on your statement. No large bank is going to waive foreign ATM fees unless you keep a huge balance with them. This alone is reason to bank with First Security.
