Always a pleasant experience coming to this location. Sometimes there is a wait. But the ladies at the desk will still acknowledge and let you know they will be with you shortly. And even apologize for the wait was you are being helped. People just need to have patience these days and many don’t. I’m always greeted with a warm smile, and great service. My favorite post office! Thank you ladies! Keep up the great work!

The clerk running the counter was very rude and nasty. If she worked for a private company and not the government, she would of been fired long ago. She isn't stupid either- she knows she will never be removed from her duties. This creates and endless cycle of poor customer service.

Our regular mail lady is prompt and friendly. Why is it, when she is on vacation we conveniently never receive ANY mail????? Why is that??

They lost my package ? and I think it's not fair that they can't even give me the money I paid for the shipping costs.

This is one of the best post office's in the area. EASY. I'd rather driver out of my way and come to this P.O. than go to the inferno on Irving Park.

I had signed up for automatic charge to my card to pay for my P.O. Box online to avoid late fees. Bottom line usps some how did not charge my card. And then I get an email saying I haven’t pay my box. So I go in trying to explain this to the lady (wish I had gotten her name ) that I signed up on line and I shouldn’t have to pay for a late fee. At first when she greeted me and I greeted her back we were both calm and all. Once she told me she can’t do anything for me because she says they’re a not connected to the system online , I kept asking questions and explaining what I did to avoid late fees and yet now I’m still getting charged that , it seems she started getting irritated , mad giving me attitude with the way she answer (not necessarily her tone). And ignoring my questions. One of her comments which at the end was her last statement, was that “it’s gotta be my card then” , same card I used to pay right now with her. So worked here but not online ?? .. only reason this business is still up and running because is usps, the low ratings shows that if customers had other ways to go about sending mail the traditional way, this business would closed down long time ago. I tried to stay calm and I did most of the way but at the end I did express my frustration, not being loud or arguing, just mostly telling her is not fair and I’m not happy and they should had been able to do something. I don’t see a point to make it bigger but I could had wasted more time if I had ask for a manager. Thinking of just canceling my box for next cycle period. I don’t have to deal with this. No one has (paying extra if it’s not your fault)

The Staff Of Elmwood Park Are Fantastic And Extremely Caring. The Staff Goes Beyond Their Job Description. I Was Waiting For A Medication I Order Online And It Was Running A Day Late Due To The Weather And I Was Concerned About Receiving My Medication , In A Matter Of A Hour One of The Kindest Postal Employee Hand Delivered To Me . God Bless Her I Think Her Name Is Corra . I Have Spoken to Mrs. Smith and Dianna in The Past and Omg I Never Felt as I was Treated With Concern And Kindness.

An almost identical experience as the woman below me. I was helped by Sharon. I mail something all of once a year so I do not understand shipping costs. I tried to gain an understanding and was instead met with a completely condescending tone and frustration. When I couldn’t understand what she was saying I asked more questions and instead of trying to explain it better she told me the same things only yelled this time. When I asked why I was being yelled at I was told “because you’re really starting to irritate me with your questions.” If I can’t ask an employee questions when I don’t understand something then clearly I’ve come to the wrong place to service my needs. I will literally never step foot in there again after this encounter. Unless you are a highly trained USPS worker who understands shipping, I do not recommend going there. And if you do go there…clearly questions are not allowed without being treated like dirt.

01/04/2022The employees are so disrespectful and it's embarrassing to the community. This is not the first time I get mistreated at this facility. The woman's name is Sharon and I wont tolerate anyone speaking to me in the way she did today. As I was opening my email to show her the QR code label for her to scan she hand gestured me to "move out the way, saying that she was not going to wait for me to be playing on my phone".How is getting the label from my email for her to scan playing on my phone?I said im not playing on my phone im getting the label for you to scan. She went on and actually raised her voice at me repeating that she would not wait. After i told her not to raise her voice at me, I asked to speak to her manager and she said MOVE and ring the bell, rude. Smh. I was so confused because I wasnt on my phone not even for one minute just a couple seconds while I opened my email which i told her i would do prior to even going on my phone. After addressing the issue with the manager, I left because the coversation got no where. I no longer felt comfortable leaving my packages there with her. I had to take time out of my morning to to redirect myself to another location. What an inconvenience to me as a paying customer.I hope customers speak up about bad experiences at this location in Elmwood Park so that managment can work towards a solution because this is treatment is unacceptable.

I should have gotten her name but the employees on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021 around 4:45pm were rude. Specifically the representative that "serviced" me essentially rushed me through my package sending process, when I was simply trying to determine the least expensive route. The representative spoke to me in a condescending tone and tried to hide it under the prescriptive script of being "professionally friendly". I imagine that I was taking too long for her because she rushed me through every step, not even giving me an opportunity to process the different pricing and shipping speeds. She saw that I was also attending to my two toddlers who were with me and nonetheless "nice-nasty" rushed me through the payment process. I know how to use a card machine. Forgive me if I actually want to read what I'm being charged for considering that you wouldn't give me a minute to follow along or even ask questions about the pricing that you sped through and refused to repeat. Sharon helped me ship my package when I was confused and she took her time to make sure I understood. I think other reviewers need to understand that the people at this specific location are not responsible for the entire route your package takes to its destination.

My opinion is that this location is the best Post Office in the entire city. It is all about people. The people who work here were friendly and polite every time. I live in this area for a couple of years and I'm coming to my local Post Office pretty often because of my working needs. And I have to admit that this people always gave me great attitude and exceptional help with a smile on the face. Even thru the mask. I wish them the best every time. I will keep coming back happy because they are professionals. They know how to do great job and they do it.

Multiple packages have come through here and I have had no problem. Yesterday, I tracked my package and it showed delivered. Keep in mind it was snowing. I looked everywhere and asked my neighbours, and it wasn’t here. I want to ask WHO delivered my package and WHERE they placed it.Some similar situations were that I always look outside and I see the mailman carelessly throwing the package. I’m not sure if they changed the mail person, but they need to start caring about their job and place it on the porch, not throwing it randomly on the ground.
