Pharmacy works slowly and will actively make picking up prescriptions more difficult. I called a day in advance to insure a script would be filled and ready to go, and was assured it would be ready. The following day showed up to pick it up and it took 45 minutes. There are better pharmacies in the area. This lack of efficiency has been consistent. Moving all scripts elsewhere.

Great staff the only downside to this location is that it closes at 11 pm but other then that the employees are super helpful and the pharmacy is on the ball with everything

They are absolutely the worst. I had a prescription for back pain that keeps me up at night. It was sent to them at 4pm. I checked the app and was showing it won’t be ready until tomorrow. So I called and requested it to be transferred to a different location, in the past they stretched something like that to days. I was told that after all they will be able to fill it in the next 2 hr. I drove there after 9pm when I was available and of course they didn’t fill it with a nonchalant “oh yeah we were really backed up today”. Then why lie in the first place? There’s another Walgreens 10 min away from them that always fills whatever is in stack under 2hr. They act like this is a candy store and it’s fine to lie to people and not give them the meds. They once took days literally to fill her heart medications as well as antibiotics. This is dishonest is understatement, it’s purely unsafe and hazardous to their patients’ health. They really should get reported for something like that.

This is an AWFUL place to go. There was some dispute about my father's prescription, and when I gave the guy behind the counter my phone to talk to him, he had the audacity to motion w his hand "Come on..." right in front of my face which is extremely rude. And very biased to older people. You wait FOREVER there, too!! I've NEVER waited longer at ANY drugstore--EVER. It's so bad, I just put all the meds online so I never, EVER have to walk in there again. I'd gladly go further out to go to a hardware store, Aldi, or wherever else.
HATE the overpriced screens (you KNOW they're going to just charge YOU for it) on the fridges. They say XYZ is on sale and you open it and there's none left, making the whole thing just pointless! Why?? More than once, more like EVERY TIME.

Prescription delivery is a nightmare. I have been waiting over 4 days for a delivery and each time I call they tell me it'll be delivered that day. And then someone at pharmacy had bright idea to renew but it's too early to renew. The door dash system is a mess. You pay for them to lose your prescription and there is no accountability.

Pharmacy never answers phone. They just play a game were they put you on hold, for the phone to ring and then for someone to pick it up and say please hold. Was waiting for 30 minutes until someone decided to just hang up. Yeah lets just play with peoples medicine because why not? hate this pharmacy

There is no more staff to assist , even the rest of staff does not know how to help customers for find their things, waste of time, mean with customer.

If I could give this Walgreens a zero, I would. The staff is always rude and condescending. Trying to make a return is ridiculous. Speaking to a manager does not help. They will not make any accommodations/requests, even after speaking to corporate several times. I have to go to other Walgreens, even though this one is minutes from my home, for substantially better customer service. Such a shame. This Walgreens needs changing from top to bottom. Looking at the other reviews, I see I am not alone.

As a frequent customer I was highly upset and disgusted with the service I received by a cashier "Jackie ". I purched 3 ,2litter sodas which all where showing sings for 3/$5. I wanted to purchase 2 ginger ale and 1 coke . She stated coke was 3/$4 and ginger ale was 3/$5 . She was wrong I even stated I could take a picture and show her. She then snatched the coke and asked me are you gunna buy this or not ? I have a long line . I stated I understood and no ill take the 3 ginger ale instead, then she proceeded to get upset and stated she don't need me to take a picture for her because she knows . I stated I did not want the price honored but atleast corrected on floor for others. I then spoke to employee stocking soda and juice and he just laughed and didn't seem to care all sings had promo of 3/$5 .... walgreens please do better and take longer interviews ?... thank you I hope Jackie was just having a bad night and will do better !

What happened to this pharmacy? It's horrible! Long lines, problems with orders and chaos. Always a problem with my Good RX coupons as well. In this day and age you would think picking up medication would be easy and stress free (especially when you are sick or elderly).

They are selling the business so we have to deal with the crazyness until then and then wait yet again for them to get it together!!! HORIBLE PHONE SERVICE, STUPID workers and now when you call they send you to a headquaters office that does nothing either, Up to 45 minutes on HOLD!!!!! I will be looking for a new pharmacy ASAP, BUT FOR NOW This place is a hazard to your health!!!

Look, this Walgreens is usually pretty nice. But today I waited in the pharmacy line for 40 minutes. 40 minutes. While they helped about 1 customer for every 10 minutes. By the time it got to me, they tell me the pharmacy is closed. This really pisses me off, this is my meds we’re talking about. Waiting in line for that long, just to be turned away when it’s my turn is bad business.

Terrible/THE WORST service. The pharmacy is the ABSOLUTE WORST. Terribly rude and don't care for their patients or clients. I sat in the drive thruwaiting for my COVID test (that I had a scheduled Appointment for) and no one acknowledged me for over a half hour at the window. I typically am non confrontational in these situations, but finally rang the bell for service and was told "we will be with you in a sec" and the hung up on. Finally after another 15-20 min. someone came to assist and they were very rude and didn't seem to want to help me at all. I will not be using Walgreens (especially the one in Elmwood Park on Harlem and Diversey) again. Also, I have called them and have been on hold numerous times for over an hour. I just don't understand this. So frustrating and disappointing that a place of business can treat customers like this. I woukd give zero stars if I could.
