I had booked an online appointment for my husband's car to be serviced on Friday, June 14th, at 1:30 p.m. But on the morning of the appointment, my husband got a call saying there was no appointment scheduled. I found it strange because they couldn't have called him without his contact details. After my husband texted me about the situation, I called the Evergreen Park facility. I spoke with a person named Dan, who was nice, and he confirmed that there was indeed an appointment scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Great! Or so I thought.
Dan asked why I was coming in and mentioned that the facility was quite busy. I said the reason for the appointment was a noise from the front of the car and I wanted it to be checked. We discussed the pricing for a diagnostic check and a test drive. I told Dan that I just wanted a test drive as the sound was noticeable. Dan said that was fine, but then I learned that any car arriving after noon might need to be kept overnight and checked the next day. What? This was frustrating because the whole point of making an appointment was to have the issue looked at during their business hours. I didn't expect the repairs to be done on the same day, but I did expect someone to test drive the car and understand the issue. I thanked Dan and said I'd have to find another repair shop for servicing my car.
I've been a loyal customer of AAA Car Care Plus for over 6 years, typically visiting the North Riverside location, and have always had great customer service with no issues with appointments. I've recommended their services to many others. However, my recent experience at the Evergreen Park location has made me question whether I want to keep going there. I hope this feedback reaches the right people at AAA Car Care Plus and prompts them to re-evaluate scheduling consistency across all locations.

Got my brakes done and afterwards they reported a rattling sound. Took a day off to get the suspension checked and found out it was the brake calipers rolling around. 3 stars for the A+ customer service.

These guys should be ashamed of themselves. They took advantage of an 82 year old woman. She brought her car in for some bumper repairs and other items and they let her car go half fixed AND let it go with a major brake fluid leak from a caliper they replaced in the left rear. Not only that but the caliper was missing a mounting bolt. Luckily she stopped at our shop and we took care of her brake problem. Unreal.

Typical upcharge scam shop. Went in for front brake pads and they wouldn't swap them without replacing the calipers as well.I've been building vehicles and been repairing vehicles for over 20 years, engine swaps, performance mods, to entire suspension upgrades. I got lazy and decided to pay an "experienced" shop to do a simple MAINTENANCE repair. Thanks for reinforcing the reason I do my own work. SCAMMERS

Auto Shop - Scammers! Find another place! They make things up in terms of issues and needed repairs. Have caught them in several lies and will never step foot in there again.

Self service air machine is always supposedly down & some man name Clint is very rude & lazy and didn’t want to put air in my tire or let me use theirs… I get better service at Firestone or Sam’s club auto which is close by.

The car service reps were courteous and answered all of my questions.My car was ready in about an hour and I also received a thorough diagnostic of any work that may be needed in the future. The waiting area was clean and comfortable.I now see why I had to wait almost 2 weeks for an oil change. This establishment stays busy.
