I normally would have no problems with Credit Union 1....I normally only make deposits in my account.. today I decided to do both make a deposit as well as a withdrawal I wanted to leave even dollar amounts in both my accounts but it seems to be a problem with making a deposit with the same payroll checks that I've deposited since opening this because of a hyphenated last name that I've had since 1995 ..I find it strange that there was no problems with withdrawing funds from my account but when I tried to make a deposit ,which still had to clear it was a big deal ...I was asked for all types of proof...even my marriage license. so I happen to have my SS card and birth certificate also my work ID and a second piece of ID. I provided all of that information but when I got to my car and took a look at my receipts I notice my name had not been updated. When I went back into inquire it was a group of employees talking about me I was then pulled in a office and was told it may take a week or a little longer so as of today, I withdrew almost all of my funds after all..... this is only a savings account I could have chose to bank with any three of the credit unions that my job is affiliated with but because I was referred to Credit Union 1 and am a former member of Healthcare Associates Credit Union I decided to go with the referral and boy did I make a mistake I will not be referring anyone else to this Credit Union although previously there were little to no problems but today they send me through a little too much when several pieces of identification was provided when the account was opened and several deposits have been made with the same payroll checks. The same address appeared on my payroll checks my social security card even my birth certificate but I guess that wasn't enough because they're still a wait for my information to be updated
