I would recommend shoppers go to an actual Macy's store, such as the one downtown on State Street. This backstage store has no real selection. Shoe section- does anyone work in that section ? and I will not even mention the lack of assistance in cosmetics. It was not what i expected.

THEY NEED SECURITY!! As my sister & I were leaving these 2 guys scared us as they were rushing behind us basically pushing us, STEALING MERCHANDISE! Not sure why there is people soliciting inside the actual store either. Employees are very polite & store is clean though.

Didn’t know Macy’s had a outlet store like this. Kind of reminds me of TJ Maxx the wife and I had a blast shopping here today.

This store allows individuals to sell their homemade pickles in the middle of the clothing department, giving out samples, and also other homemade items. This is my opions is a ridiculous image that they are portraying for Macys

Display of love! Not here the most rudest associate came by me. I politely asked her a question. She told me go stand in line and ask your question. I called her on it. She argued with me and that's fine. I told her she was rude. She was a very ignorant person. Shame on you Macy's you can do better than that.. Also you will find the $200 or so products piled on yyour floor where I left them. Will never return, and never spend a dime here .

Very unpleasant experience while I was checking out at the front desk. I had to wait 15+ minutes in line because the cashiers were just taking their time talking with their customers mind you it was early and it wasn't busy. I was with my mom who barely speaks English and the cashier seemed very impatient because my mom was taking a while to comprehend what was going on. I was right there with my mom translating and even then the cashier seemed very aggravated . We were both very nice to her the entire time and tried our best to keep a smooth transaction. I understand we all have our bad days at work but please don't take it out on other customers that are being polite. I didn't want to complain or tell the cashier anything because she was old but if I'm going to have this same experience every time then y'all need to get rid of these old cranky cashiers!! I don't appreciate seeing workers give me and my mom a hard time for simply che king out some clothes please do better.

So this is what happened to me today at #Macy's Market, 9700 S. Western Ave, Evergreen Park, Il. I went in with my mother and bought some FIRE shoes and the cutest lil jumpsuit. I asked if they could hold tbe items while I continued to shop. "Sure" they said. When I was ready to check out, I tell the young man at the counter they're holding some items for me. He comes back with a dress, I tell him that's not it. Then he holds up my jumpsuit and asks if this is it, I say yes, that's it. He's pretty friendly during the transaction. I get home and realize they didn't put the belt to the jumpsuit in the bag. So I called the store fifty million times before they finally answer. When they answer, I recognize the voice as that of the young man that rang me up earlier. I'm explaining to him what happened and asked if he can check to see if the belt is in the back. He tells me I'll have to come up there. I said it was too far, and if they have it I'll come back tomorrow, but if not, I'll take the jumpsuit back to the Macy's closest to me. So this is where it gets crazy.... He puts me on hold, and a young lady picks up and asks me to repeat what I just said, so I do. At some point the young man gets back on the phone and says 'describe him' after I say it was a young man that helped me originally. This kinda threw me, but I say 'uh, he was tall, a black male.." and so this dude says "so he was a n*gger" I said 'what??' He repeated it again "it was a N*gger". I was speechless. I said "is this Macy's? What did you just say to me??" Then he said it AGAIN!! And then he hung up the phone. Ooooohhhhh weeeee, I couldn't get to that store fast enough!! When I made it back to the store, the idiot, whose name is Kyle, by the way, saw me talking to the store manager, and went and hid in the back when he saw us walking towards him. THIS DUDE HID OUT IN THE BACK OF THE STORE. I told the manager, Allysha, that I would wait for her to find him, I needed to ask him some questions. He finally comes out, grinning and dragging his feet. Looking guilty as hell. Of course he denied it, but I still lit into him. What possessed this young man to say that to me???? Who raised him to think it was acceptable to say that to me??? Me...someone who has the same skin as his!!! It felt like he had kicked me in the the stomach. I can't wait for Macy's Co. to explain this one to me.

This store is a joke. There is nothing there in comparison to what a REAL STORE should be. Limited sizes. They try to lure you in with this " immersive shopping experience" that is just ordinary.... I'd have better luck shopping at KOHLS comparted to this new MACYS' concept they have downsized to.

Extremely well organized! Perfume area easy to shop in plenty of tester. Sun glasses from versace to Prada all at great prices [300-500). Women clothing area plenty of great designers. Shoe areas have some weird pick but it is a clearance store. 2nd floor has lesser brands and a cool section on purses/bags that were put out last seasons styles. FYI check out on second floor has 80% less people in line.. PARKING FREE. Security at front door to keep the thieves from grabbing and dashing.

Beautiful new space. There are trendy designer clothes downstairs with shoes, cosmetics and accessories. Upstairs there are pieces from last season and pieces on sale. There is a section for handbags and accessories. This store also has home decor and toys. Lines moved quickly and the service was friendly. Found a really pretty sweater that they did NOT have in my size. This store receives NEW merchandise on a daily basis. Once its gone, that's it.

The first floor has regular macys items and prices. Brand name handbag section, shoes, makeup, toys, household items, brand name clothes, etc. The second floor has discounted items. I thought there'd be better quality clothes/brand name on the second floor but found it was just like going to Ross. I'd shop the first floor or just head to Marshalls.
