I dread going to this walmart but it's close so sometimes I don't have another choice. For the most part, the cashiers are not very friendly at all and about 99% of the registers are self check out. Walmart needs to shape this store up

It's Walmart, what do you want me to say? Their employees are rude at best, they do not want to be there or even pretend like they do. The floor employees hate it when you ask them where something might be. They're always on their cell phones on personal calls while working!!! They rarely have the pet supplies I'm looking for so I have to travel all the way to the 70th and Cicero location with my fingers crossed. Customer service has never been one of Walmart's strong suits, it still isn't and probably never will be. It's always an icky experience going to this particular Walmart, that's why I've reduced my visits to very seldom, grouchy employees and the absence of the products sought, make most visits fruitless and fast, leaving out empty handed headed to Aldi's and or Meijer's.

This Walmart have the worst workers ! They have a horrible culture ! They curse and he customers out and try to control them on which register to go to ! TIERRA is the only staff that has sense . She was able to diffuse the situation in a respectable manner and asked the idiot girl to take a 15 break which she didn’t . Tierra was very classy ! Target would never curse you out like you outside ! They should call this TIERRA’s Walmart because she’s a natural born leader that knows how to multitask, has great customer service, and she ran the store from front to back today !

I heard two guys talking at this location about how Walmart was closing other stores in minority neighborhoods in a plot to 'keep us under control'. Now the self-checkout at this EP store has been discontinued. Why? The store associate said it was because too many people were stealing. The reason why "we" have so many problems isn't because of some conspiracy, IT'S BECAUSE OF HOW WE ACT.
"Thou shalt not steal" -GOD (Exodus 20:15)
No matter how you try to fix it up and justify it, stealing is a sin against God. Period.

This Walmart is one of the worst I have been to in a long time! First of all, it’s not safe, they are all kind of people who run into you with shopping carts and cause drama. I got a two altercations with the usual suspects. You know the type the baby mama drama? The type of women that hate men because their baby daddy pissed them off?
So my advice is go to another Walmart in the area. Or nearby Target.

If I need a Walmart associate to stand over me while I use the "self checkout" it defeats the purpose, and at that point they might as well just be a cashier checking me out instead of a warden.

Theres a small handful of things you can count on at this location, none of which are positive. This walmart has never been good for customer service and/or availability of products. Present day that has not improved. You can count on poor customer service and if you're lucky to get a question answered, be prepared to be given needless attitude from any one of their employees on any given day. You can count on messy, poorly stocked shelves as well. In addition to that if a neat, organized well managed superstore are what you're looking for, you'd be better off driving a few more miles to skip this location and go to the one in Alsip or elsewhere. Just spare yourself the headache of coming here.
