Be careful putting your phone in your pocket at this HUCKS. Manager who has nothing better to do sits at home watching security cameras and accuses paying customers/children of stealing. After pockets were emptied and it was repeatedly proved no one was stealing no apology was given.

Today, I visited this Huck’s location to purchase a slush. Upon approaching the checkout area, I noticed that Lane One was marked as “closed,” so I moved to the next register which was open but unattended. Meanwhile, two employees (both white females) were behind the counter at the closed lane, appearing to be engaged in work-related tasks. Out of respect, I waited patiently at the open register with my slush and debit card in hand.
After standing there for several minutes without acknowledgment, a white male customer approached the closed register with multiple items. One of the employees immediately engaged him and checked him out without hesitation. I had been waiting at least 3–5 minutes and was not only overlooked, but essentially skipped in line.
Following his transaction, the same employee walked away from the register area. The second employee then asked if she was going to ring me out, to which the first employee responded, “Well, I thought she was here for an interview,” and continued walking away. At no point during my wait was I asked if I needed assistance until I finally spoke up and asked if someone was going to check me out.
I found this experience to be disappointing and unprofessional. Regardless of any assumptions, I was visibly standing at the register with a product and payment in hand. I should not have had to wait over five minutes or be ignored based on an assumption. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure that all customers are treated with equal respect and prompt service moving forward.

I had a truly awful experience at Hucks this morning. The staff members, Jeanna and Brenda, were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Brenda was practically yelling at me to not “be short” with her, which was completely uncalled for. I was simply trying to get a coffee refill, and I ordered a regular, but they charged me for a large. When I questioned it, they insisted I had ordered the larger size. I felt so humiliated because of the scene they caused; everyone was looking at us. I will never return to this gas station.

This is a great place to go for a quick bite to eat, some snacks, or to play your favorite lottery games and get some gas.
