βAldi is a great place to shop they have so many items to choose from at great prices. Aldi fruits and veggies are very good. Also the Employee's are very polite, helpful and friendly ?β
βStill the best deal in town. Unlike Stracks et al, they don't price gouge. They also don't try to pawn off the "half loaf" of bread for the price of a full loaf. Keep up the good work ? ? ?β

βYesterday I dropped my wallet by accident in Aldi by Crestwood.... And today I went to see if someone had found my wallet. And yes thank God they did found my wallet ? everything was insane in my wallet even my moneyβ
βPretty clean. Easy to find what I went there for, Cookies! They also had a very thick glaze on top of cinnamon rolls, so I picked those up as well. Only disappointing item was the off-brand Ho Ho's, very very small in comparison to any others.β

βI used to think they weren't great but now some of your basics -you pay more the half less than jewel or food 4 less & guess what? In most cases now is much better quality!β
βGood selection of fresh produce, meats, organic grocery items, and healthy options overall. There is a section with items that are "here today, gone tomorrow" that I feel always has some items worth checking out, whether seasonal or going out of stock.
I usually bring my reusable bag and put my items in there, but if I forget it I can usually find an empty box on the shelf or in one of their carts that I can use to put my items in to save on plastic waste and buying a bag from them. Super convenient and great for the environment.
Good selection of meats and fruit, especially if you want something locally grow. Prices fluctuate but they seem reasonable to me in comparison for the quality of items you're getting.
I will say the self checkouts rolling out at many of the Aldi's are game changers. Otherwise, the lines can get pretty ridiculous and, besides holidays, I don't think I've ever seen more than two lanes open at a time at ANY Aldi from Illinois to Indiana. Other than that, I love going to Aldi for the prices, quality of ingredients, and the "here today, gone tomorrow" section!!!
P.S. there is a section in most Aldi locations with items from gardening to shoes to blankets to coloring books. Great finds in there too!!!β

βIt was pretty busy, it was also a Sunday. Any Peteβs market has the best skirt steak meat. However, this place their aisle seemed narrow/small for what Iβm used to at my Chicago location.β

βLove this store for spices, meat, produce, and anything you need to make Mediterranean food. The pita bread is so soft and still steaming in the bag it's so fresh.β
βThe manager here deserves all good incentives. One can feel his positive energy, & his desire to keep the store beyond up to par. Some of the customers are ignorant, even senior citizens, but we look over every one of them. The goal for me is to attain food, & go home.β

βClean African store. I don't miss home country whenever I visit this store for my all African home made food. Food stuff here stay fresh, organic, clean package at affordable prices. Warm and cheerful store attendants. Nice parking space, observed African culture with blends of American refined characters.

βThen that store has been around since I was a kid there is no other choice or alternative but to patronize every now and again it's a staple of the neighborhood pretty much one of the few things that has been around and stood the test of time even though no link and high pricesβ
βThey underwent construction earlier on in the year. The bread placement has changed to the beginning of the store, as well as the fruits and veggies. They added an extra freezer aisle. I believe there is more products then there used to be.β

βI only come to Fairplay for the sales and It's usually well stocked. Went there for the so-called sale on oxtails. Asked a (butcher?) if they were trimmed down too much. The reply was "They have to get trimmed sweetheart." First, I hate when a condescending tone is aimed at me. Second, when too much fat is trimmed from oxtails, the cooking method is altered to insure tenderness. Lastly, whatever happened to real butchers? Not just people who work in the meat department.β
βI love the new look and set up of products. Their prices are still reasonable and on point. The aisles are wider and easier to navigate. There handicap parking spaces are sufficient. The only thing they lack are electrical rolling carts with baskets for people with disabilities. They had one cart stuffed deep in a corner, surrounded by boxes. It was not accessible for use. I don't know if this was due to the fact that it didn't work. If that is the case, I hope that it is quickly rectified and two more are added.β

βConsidering they run these stores with a tiny crew, they do a great job here. Huge selection, tons of products, insane amounts of traffic sometimes. The cashiers always amaze me with how they manage the demanding and entitled people, sometimes several at a time, having issues with the self checkout, all while continuing to ring up other customers.
Each time Iβve interacted with employees here, though they are always working hard and busy, theyβve been friendly and very helpful.
I stop here once every other week or so. Good store, good staff.β
βYou have to try the El Pastore pizza! Marinated pork, pineapple, onions, cilantro. Oh my gosh, it is SO GOOD! You wonβt be sorry. We order it every other week, as a treat.β

βI like this store, great meat prices compared to Jewel. The deli is 100% better than Jewel as well, lunch meat and cheese are $2 less a pound. They don't have great deals on soda; I go elsewhere for that. With the app, I keep getting $5 off sometimes monthly. Get the app, it's worth it. The register people are a bit slow; they only have 2 registers open since I've been going there, that blows.β

βThe store was well lit, organized and clean except for the bathroom. There was no tissue in the big stall. I had to get some from the smaller stall and that one was pretty messy. 2 star experience for the bathroom. The rest of my experience in the store was good. I found everything I needed with no problem. I love how there are several options for an item. For example I was able to find different kinds of organic cheeses and milks. There are plenty of non-dairy milk options as well. In the check out there was not a long wait which was a plus. I love how the aisles are wide so that several people can pass through at the same time.β

βIt is always very well stocked. Clean. Employees still helpful. I ve been to many a Meijer. This one is unique in that it s customer service is excellent. Truly excellent. I don't think I ve been to a superstore where people are this nice. Where the shelving is even clean. I think in my area we got too used to wal-Mart which okay...has better prices on most things. But? As they say. You get what you pay for.β
