If I want to see if a shoe or bag can be saved, I take them to Tovar! This man had to remake the heel on my favorite sandals. It was a little pricey; but worth every cent!

First of all, I bypass two repair shops to patronize our melanated ppl that's much closer to me, to get totally ripped off... Had Been paying the high cost but this last time was beyond ridiculous!!! Charged me $25.00 to glue the top sole on one(1,uno) sandal... Im done !! ... It never fails when you trying to support our ppl...SMH!!!

I brought a pair of shoes in to be repaired. The gentleman who helped me took a look at them and gave me an estimate to repair them, but told me he would advise just buying a new pair. I took his advice and declined the repair. I appreciate his honesty and not making the repair just to make a buck. It's nice to see so e places stl put the customers interest first. I'll bring any future repairs I might need to them.

Nice family business. Extremely nice, so I felt welcomed. $16 to cut a pair of heels down. They cut my 5inch heels down to 4.75 inches if that. You literally couldn’t tell that they were cut. This is after the mix up on my scheduled pick up. They were to be picked up in a week on a Friday. I came Saturday morning they were not ready. They accommodated me by stating they could do it while I wait an hour. I waited and both pair of shoes at $32 heels barely got cut down. It was like they removed the tap on the heel only. Not sure if it was because they were rushed, but I was told that was the most it could be taken down. When I checked in initially, I asked for an inch at least to be taken. I was told it could be down but wasn’t

Ricardo is AWESOME! He modified a pair of sandals for my sister, who has club feet. He did a wonderful job! We both love the shoes.

I had them resole a pair of Lucesse alligator cowboy boots. Turnaround was only a day and a half. Ab-so-lut-ly outstanding job. I will be bringing all of my shoe needs here. Thanks guys.
