“I had gone to a dollar tree at the Archer and Ashland location, and it was so disorganized. Then I drove down to the Archer and Damen Dollar store wow it was very well organized. That location has a lot of foot traffic. Cashier was very nice and professional. Both locations have a large amount of foot traffic and staff were equally nice and very pleasant when I asked for specific items. Too bad they no longer have the glass bottles I was looking for.”

“The deals here are great. If you use Gain laundry products, they have a spinoff which smells just like it. I save a lot of $$ buying my household cleaning products, hair, bath and body products here and I'm talking about name brands. Clip coupons and DG coupons also and save even more! Their holiday & seasonal decorations are really cute and so inexpensive. towels, throw rugs, kitchen gadgets also. I could spend hours looking at all the goodies in there, I ❤️ DG”

“This is a great little dollar store, very reasonable prices I think everything is $1 or $1.25. The selection is more like a small department store -they have cooking tools, food, toiletries, toys, decorations, cleaning supplies, even some clothes. Great place to shop for little gifts.”

Today I called to see if an item I was looking for was in stock. The person told me that they were just receiving their shipment and would call me back to let me know if they got any. “The woman that runs this location doesn’t get enough credit she’s so amazing she handles overwhelming situations she handles rude situations she handles call offs/ shortage of staff, and so many other things with grace. She’s up and in that store on days I personally think she deserves a break. She is the reason I come there. I use to be an assistant store manager for dollar general and it’s not easy at all but the way she handles her job needs better yet DESERVES recognition from the company. I remember I came 3 times in 1 day and she was there every time handling each customer with the upmost respect. I’ve walked into this location and she’s the only one there and she’s still treated everyone with respect. It’s her job but we are humans as well and her job she doesn’t do SHE DOES MORE THEN HER JOB. This lady is amazing and Dollar General is blessed to have her.-a neighborhood regular-”

I also had 2 items that I wanted to exchange from 2 other Dollar Tree stores due to them being duplicate items that I'd purchased before. He sells Islamic decorations at the best prices. The Islamic decoration we bought where only 14.00 witch is very cheap for the quality. “Since I happened to be in the Forest Park area, I visited this Dollar Tree solely to purchase Jimmy Dean's Cheddar Cheese Omelets which I have grown to love for breakfast in the morning. Along with the omelets, I figured why not purchase other things like water, shelf stable milk, toilet paper, body spray, body soap, white bread, peanut butter, and snacks while visiting. The atmosphere at this location feels so calm in comparison to other locations I visited. The one thing that makes me feel uneasy are the panhandlers that are typically out during the late evening hours. And I must say that with there being a lack of lighting available outside contributes to that uneasy feeling as well. Dollar Tree is becoming more like Dollar General with what products are being shelved. During this visit, I could not help but admire a $5 pair of Super Soft Leggings which are the perfect lounge around wear. I swear, I will have to stay clear of that aisle in the future because I nearly left with a camouflage pair of leggings. I have been buying large bottles of water from Dollar Tree for some time now. Dollar Tree has my preferred brands in stock like Alkaline, Aquafina, Dasani, Eternal, Life WTR, and now Body Armor Sport Water which keep me purchasing consistently. Their sizes alone are perfect for the pace I choose to drink water, so Dollar Tree is my go-to choice for purchasing. Shelf stable milk continues to be an item that keeps me visiting Dollar Tree locations for. Its lifespan, price, and carton size works for me in comparison to buying out of supermarket stores. I make it my sole priority to purchase toilet paper every time I visit Dollar Tree, since it is one of my most used essentials next to body soap. Even though I would have preferred tissue by Scott Comfort Plus, I had to settle for Strong and Soft since Scott Comfort Plus was not available. "Hint, hint ", Scott Comfort Plus is the better tissue brand in my opinion. This location does have a parking lot of its own, a small lot which can feel congested at times when there are a number of visitors. If you are like me and want to avoid the uneasy feeling of a congested parking lot, there is street parking in the immediate area. Whether it be for the purchase of breakfast foods, bottled water, shelf stable milk, toilet paper, or even hygiene products, Dollar Tree continues to be my go-to for those items.
