Ferrara Candy Company is a candy store and factory located in Forest Park, where the area often exudes a sweet aroma from the candy being crafted inside. The "pan" in the name comes from the method of using an open, rotating pan to create a hard-candy finish on favorites like Original Boston Baked Beans, Sour Cherries, and NERDS. The store is attached to the factory and is considered a sweet attraction. It is wheelchair friendly and offers a huge selection of candy, including gummies, nerds, jelly beans, and lemon heads, but not chocolate. Customers report paying very low, dollar-store prices for fresh candy, such as a box of 40 fruit snacks for around five dollars. The store has many choices, including small boxes sold by the case. The candy itself receives specific praise. Black Forest Juicy Burst are noted among the best fruit snacks, with distinct fruit flavors and a not-too-sticky texture, though variety in each pack could improve. New Laffy Taffy packaging is described as more durable, making the taffy easier to serve and providing a more enjoyable experience. Some feedback suggests the company could be more welcoming in the store, but conversations seem friendlier when speaking Spanish. A notable sculpture of a cow head below the sign references the building's history, as it was once occupied by Borden Dairy. The store is a popular local stop for stocking up on fresh, affordable candy.
These are absolutely my new favorite thing they are so awesome I hope they never take them off the shelf

This store is AWESOME! Don't listen to the bad reviews. The store is attached to the factory - they have many choices and you can buy small boxes of Lemonheads and others in case form for under 8 dollars (24 little boxes in a case). I am there every two weeks to stock up - my staff love the candy and a happy staff = happy... read full comment

Candy is so fresh it melts in your mouth like butter. Not a fancy shop by any means but a lot of choices.
