Met twice with store manager Isaac Valdovinos (Forest. Park IL) to discuss best options for painting my stairwell to attic. He was knowledgeable, patient with my many questions, and carefully explained options. Excellent customer care! Store was well organized, all staff were cordial and personable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!

I absolutely love our local paint store, Paulson's Paint. The employees are incredibly knowledgeable and always helpful. With two locations, I mainly visit the Forest Park one. They can match paint colors even from small samples, and the Oak Park location can fill spray cans with your custom color.
While the prices are higher than big box stores, the quality and personalized service at JC Licht (or as we know it Paulson's Paint) make it worth every penny. The care and expertise you receive here are unmatched.
They have street-metered parking at both entrances, and they will happily load your paint and supplies in your car!

Joanna at the Forest Park location went above and beyond to accommodate me with a defect in a product. She contacted the company and received instructions on how to repair the item rather than return it. She actually repaired the item and contacted me to pick up at no charge. Her communication was excellent and her pleasant demeanor towards a customer was exemplary!!!
What a wonderful customer experience ! I will continue to be a loyal customer to JC Licht in Forest Park, Illinois.

Will always support JC Licht after these interactions... Zach Pruitt went above and beyond to get my sample paint to me, then Jacob in Berwyn was exceptional. Forest Park staff were also super helpful. All around, really happy with service!!

I had a blind string issue. Called JC Licht and was helped by Joanna who was very helpful, friendly, and courteous and helped me get my issue solved promptly. I would definitely recommend this place for blind installation and very good service after the purchase is over. Super helpful. Companies like this sadly are getting to be fewer and harder to find.

Recently visited the Benjamin Moore store on Madison Street and had a great experience. Isaac was incredibly helpful. He introduced me to a product that not only met my needs but also cut my costs.
