Love this recreation center! If you’re a resident, it’s about the same price as planet fitness, or has a great gym and pretty solid set up of weights and cardio equipment. The skate park and outdoor workout area are really cool as well, and I love the massive park district space.
The Roos Rec Center is a 15,000 square foot facility with something for all ages. It features a fitness studio, multi-purpose room for classes and meetings, and a regulation sized gymnasium. There is also an outdoor area for performances, a bike repair station, and a quarter mile path that runs around the RRC and is outfitted with workout stations along the way.
