“Our son is very happy and safe at Giving Tree. Staff is loving and knows him well, and despite having some separation anxiety at the beginning he warmed up to the school very quickly. They do a lot of fun enrichment activities and the kids always look happy in the pics and videos they post.

After five years at Village Children’s Academy, this daycare has become like family to us. From the very beginning, the front office staff (Beth, Jenn, and Jovanna) have been nothing short of amazing. They are always accommodating, attentive to specific requests, and truly do everything possible to keep the school running smoothly while making families feel supported and cared for.

Over the years, we’ve had so many incredible teachers who have helped shape our sons’ experiences, and we are so grateful for each of them (shoutout to Ms Pat, Ms. Esmerelda, Ms. Randy, Ms. Drea, Mr. Nick and so many more). Most recently, Ms. Becca and Ms. Jackie have rounded out our time at VCA and constantly went above and beyond to make learning magical and memorable.

Ms. Becca starts every morning with the warmest attitude that immediately makes both kids and parents feel welcomed and comfortable. Her positivity is contagious and sets the tone for a great day.

Ms. Jackie is truly one of a kind. She doesn’t miss a single detail and fully commits to every classroom theme and somehow always brings her creative visions to life. She even relieves that “mom guilt” by creating experiences that many of us wish we had time to pull off ourselves. Like grinch day and making sure the leprechaun came to cause chaos in the classroom on St. Patrick’s Day. The kids absolutely love it.

Together, Ms Becca and Ms. Jackie create such thoughtful and imaginative pretend play stations (our family favorite was the Costco setup), and the art projects are truly above and beyond. These and the memories are the kinds of keepsakes we will cherish forever. One thing that especially touched us was how they picked out individualized Christmas gifts for each student based on their personal interests, such a thoughtful and personal gesture that speaks volumes about how much they genuinely care for every child.

We are incredibly grateful for the love, creativity, and dedication this school pours into its students every single day. VCA has given our family so many special memories, and we could not recommend them more. We’ll be sad to end our time over the next couple of days, but are so thankful for the warmth we felt through the phone on my very first call with Beth the director that solidified our decision before we even had the chance to visit the school five years ago.”

“My wife and I have been very pleased for the past 10 years with Picket Fence in River Grove. One of our children has gone there, and one is still there. The staff has always been very good with both our children. Leadership has always been very good at keeping us posted of any changes that may have occurred, or handled a problem in a professional manner. We have always appreciated the service of them walking the children to school in the morning, and picking them up in the afternoon. They were accommodating from day one for our child's socioemotional needs -- our occupational therapist who visits our child at school speaks very highly of them too. On top of the learning and care our family receives here, they plan a ton of fun activities like bubble parties, soccer, and water days. “We’ve been part of this daycare for the past five+, and all three of our children have attended since 12-15 months. As a Polish-American family, it was especially important to us that our kids were exposed to the language and culture early on, and this daycare has been a wonderful place for that. The caregivers are incredibly gentle, patient, and genuinely caring. It always gave us peace of mind knowing our kids were in such good hands.

This isn’t only a daycare, the kids learn so much: colors, numbers, shapes, planets, cutting skills, etc. I’ve heard from two different kindergarten teachers that my children came in well ahead of their classmates and have asked where my children attended prior to kindergarten.

We’ve also really appreciated how easy communication is. The app has been a great addition, allowing us to see updates throughout the day and quickly stay on top of anything the kids need. The home-cooked meals are another big plus, and something our children have truly enjoyed. Over the years, our kids have formed lasting friendships, and we’ve gotten to know so many wonderful families as well. We truly can’t recommend this daycare enough.

Huge shoutout to Pani Vera, Pani Ania and Pani Maja for their amazing care. They helped shape my children and I am forever grateful for that solid foundation. Another one to Damian who is backstage, but answers all my emails, fills out paperwork, creates amazing videos of events the kids put on and so much more!”

“We enrolled our son at Millie's and were immensely pleased with the results. We came to them on the recommendation of my cousin, who works in the local school system, and we were not disappointed. They helped my wife and I with the transition of our first child into daycare with grace and compassion. After a week he seemed excited every day for drop off and left with a smile on his face. Their app provided us with great updates and clear evidence of the great attention they were paying to him in terms of eating, sleeping and diaper changes. When our circumstances changed and we needed to change his daycare they were immensely accommodating and understanding. I cannot recommend their services enough to anyone in the area needing a place to trust the care of their children with, and should circumstances change again I would immediately re-enroll our son back into Millie's House.”

“Daylight Learning Center is a diverse daycare that strive to prepare your child/children for the next education journey. The commitment and dedication I witnessed from the staff and core teachers for each grade level was incredible. My son was born during the pandemic so he lacked social skills and struggled breaking out his shell in the beginning at Daylight. Ms. Valerie, Ms. Tracy, Ms. Ashanti and Ms. Lanya did not give up on my son despite his challenges he encountered throughout his journey. Having a support system like this is vital for parents! Today as he said his goodbyes, he said he almost cried as everyone sang the farewell song. Being able to express his feelings so openly now versus from the beginning of is journey shows just how much effort and dedication Daylight community impacted him. We will miss each and every one of you! Continue to be passionate and pour into each new daylight student to come!”

“We love Green Bean!! After touring nearly every daycare in the LP area we knew Green Bean was the perfect fit for our now 15 month old daughter. My husband and I had zero jitters dropping her off on the very first day (3 months old) thanks to Ms. Chloe and Ms. Alicia in N1. All the staff and teachers here are genuinely happy, with smiles on their faces during pickup and drop off. They’re also incredibly communicative, nurturing, and we especially love that they treat every baby in the classroom like their own. Being a reggio emilia school, the staff puts a heavy emphasis on getting outdoors as much as possible each day. They also have a music class for the kids each week in their movement studio. Our daughter comes home content, with new skills that she’s excited to show off. She is now thriving in the Young Toddler classroom with Ms. Ashley, Ms. Deborah, and Ms. Anna and feels perfectly at home with all of them. Also, not sure what magic they are cleaning with, but my daughter is never sick. GB feels like home, and we’re both grateful and excited to keep growing as a family here. Best choice we’ve made as a family :)”

“We were searching for a Russian speaking daycare with great food options for our child and Children's Land caught our eye. Even though there is no Russian speaking group in this location, my child's language skill improved so much due to listening to Ukrainian and practicing Russian at home. The child adjusted nicely to the daycare and made so many friends there. There are different activities for kids every day, including singing, painting and dancing. Honestly, couldn’t be happier ?”
