The employees are always standing around on their phones and talking to each other. I've been in a few times and can never get help. Group of 2 flipping through vacation pics. Group of 3 tlking about dates they have been on or what they did last night. It would be nice if employees were learning about the area they are working in and addressing customers to see if they need help. When I did ask about flooring the guy got out his phone and asked it what the process was to lay laminate. I needed to know where and what glue to use. Not how to do it. Think I'll stick with Lowes.

This is the second review I've written about Menards in Forsyth for the same reason. I love to go to Menards to shop. I love their 11% rebates. But this is the second time I've gone to get paint and had zero help. I was there looking around for a long time. There were 4 people behind the paint counter. Not one asked if I needed any help. It was a Monday morning. And I finally went and asked for help and received no help. I was looking for some specific colors - patriotic colors, and was pretty much told I couldn't be helped. I will be going to Ace Hardware or Home Depot for all my paint needs from now on. They always help me. And there is only ONE person behind the desk there. No more paint from Menards. But I'll go there for other things such as light bulbs and holiday stuff. That's why I'm giving Menards a 3 today for service. Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man.

Came in today good customer service until it came to pick up & got rude service....everyone was getting loaded but us(waited 30mins) & goes back in the store(everyone is sitting/standing around giggling) we was told it was self serve with an attitude but the treated lumber is 30ft in the air that we needed? How are we suppose to self serve ourselves? Now we're rude because its hot as hell outside & couldn't find the wood because its shelved...no one that gets paid to do a job wanted to bring they @** out in the heat & do their job!!! We spent over 2grand just today...I'll bring all this ish back for a refund if I didn't want my house to be done!!! Sincerely a pissed off customer

Always helpful always have what you need for the most part it seems that people are happy that work there so that tells me a lot about menards. 9x out of 10 most of the material you buy is quality, I definitely recommend Menards over other places.

For the last 3 years, every time I go into this store every employee is very kind, friendly, and happy to help - not just me, but I see that they treat other customers this was too. The selection and prices are good, but it's the excellent customer service that keeps me going back ^_^

To sa e time, We paid over $10.00 in fees for curbside pickup of 5 tiny items plus 3 bags if mulch. No one answered the phone to start our pickup, so entering the store to wait, wait, and wate more. To add insult to our wait time, we have to go get our own mulch. When one is paying a premium price, please follow thru with adequate service.

My daughter and I had quite an experience there on April 19th. I noticed at least one customer walking into the store with their dog as we arrived. The dog was on a leash, so I thought nothing more of it. Our first time there, I didn’t know where the outdoor furniture section was so I was looking left and right and wasn’t paying attention in front of me. My foot slipped and I would have fallen had I not been pushing a cart! I was horrified to see what has caused me to slip and almost fall. A pile of dog poop was in the middle of the aisle! And of course it was on my shoe!
We went looking for someone to let them know. None of the employees seemed to know what to do or who to tell, so I approached an employee named Ryan. I don’t think either of us had ever had that same set of circumstances before so we were both more than a little flustered. But Ryan rose to the challenge. He did his best to clean my shoe, and quickly got together resources to take care of the situation. He made an extremely awkward, embarrassing, smelly situation better by his calm, kind, reassuring and respectful demeanor.
And I just wanted the store manager to know what a truly great employee the Forsyth Menards has in a young man named Ryan!
