Well I was right there with you and for years I used a well known discount insurance provider known for their clever ads where their employees are dressed like old school grocery employees with price guns supposedly just marking down insurance prices left and right. When it came time to renew my auto policy after the second 6 month term my premium dropped. I bundled my other policies and my auto policy dropped to less than half of what it started when I switched over.

I think the entire process for me took less than 10 mins real time and maybe an hour total for all necessary forms to be signed and sent back and forth.
