All of the workers at the Fox River Grove Illinois Post Office are the friendliest and helpful people. They are THE BEST!

I recently purchased clothes for a trip, and had to return some of them at this USPS. The disrespectful attitude that I have been receiving from an employee named Shion truly confuses me as a human being. I came in on crutches a couple of weeks ago due to an ankle surgery and all I received were condescending responses for asking which envelope I should use for my returns. I came in a second time, and received the same type of treatment. As an elementary educator, shaking your head at someone in disbelief for asking simple questions when needing assistance is beyond inappropriate. And then I have a woman next to me say, “If you brought your package in like that and there was another employee here, you would’ve been sent home.”
Thank GOD I get to teach children that it is okay to ask for help in any situation, and demonstrate the social skills of what it means to have respect for people. Please go to a different post office if you do not want to feel inferior for the rest of your day.

Shout out to Shion (sp?) At FRG post office. This morning she appeared to be a one-man-show and totally handled it like a champ. A very unpleasant patron was in front of me and giving her a hard time. She kept her cool and was professional. Hard to work with the public but she does great!

The absolute best experience I’ve ever had at probably any retail store, let alone USPS. The staff is so kind and genuinely warm.

As the line grew longer, the woman working here stayed calm and remained as efficient and friendly as ever. I had probably the best post office experience here ever. :)

Not sure about inside office but home service is not all there. What good do mailboxes do when the post man doesn't pick up mail. Just because someone may not have incoming mail does not mean they do not have outgoing... I'm a government employee who values his job, come on, yours is not that hard!

Be aware: package disappeared - never dispatched from the USPS. Left my package on Saturday morning (First-Class International) on the counter with black lady post-woman. Package was never scanned and disappeared into nowhere and shows as it never departed facility. Tried to find where is my package but they couldn't help. Label wasn't even scanned. It was a price tag ~$174 price tag shown of merchandise. I suspect someone inside post office stole it during the weekend. Workers tend to think that First Class packages are non traceable, but they are - even trackable overseas i.e. UK or France. Also I know person who couple years ago dropped a package in the lobby box at the same location without any label. Then he came to get the package and package wasn't there and no one even found that non-labeled package was dropped. I tend to trust USPS and I like service. But this is what can happen if you don't ask to scan your pre-printed package in front of you and get a receipt.

I was just assisted by a gentleman named ''You" at this location and he was truly top notch customer service. Incredibly helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Very happy with the service I received.
