Mel has been doing my hair and both my daughters for years. She is like family to us! We all get color and cuts with Mel and I have been getting extensions for many years with her. No one knows I have them unless they are told by me. I have very fine, thin hair and Mel is ultra careful with my placement and removal every time! No damage. We always leave her chair feeling our best! Her highlight and root shadow technique looks like an ultra expensive balayage. We love Mel!

I showed up for a haircut at 5 o'clock after driving in sleet and snow. 1st I was told she was on her way, a few min. later I was told that she had called me directly to cancel and went on vacation. Nope, no call but email and text confirmations and reminders. they told I needed to reschedule. Nope

the worst hair appointment i have ever been too i have never left in tears but this appointment broke me. i made an appointment based on how great the reviews were but was greatly disappointed.i booked an appointment only for getting my hair highlighted no cut, no style.i had my brothers wedding that week and told alisa the hair dresser this as i sat down i asked her for my hair to be highlighted she said the appointment would cost about $400 it was nooot it was $600 and again only colored my hair no cut or style i left with soaking wet hair . Alisa did not do what i asked for she did a darker all over with about 5 strands of hair bleached ( i already have dark brown hair so there is no point in making it darker when i asked to go more blond) the worst part is her bestie was coming in and made sure to tell me and rushed through my appointment slapping brown hair color on my face ( i am a bridesmaid with brown stains on my face ðŸ˜) she then left me at the washing bowl as she got her bestie set up and started to gossip.thankfully i went to hair school and can spot when hairdressers aren’t doing there job correctly i recommend not getting your hair done here. i did get my eyelashes done and they were amazing but sadly i will not be returning because of how horribly i was taken care of.

I found my new hair salon! I’ve been in Chicago for a year now and hadn’t found my perfect person yet. I called last minute, and they were super helpful about my appointment even after I had to call and move it because I had a last minute work thing happen.I saw Tyler and she was phenomenal. I got exactly what I asked for with my hair, and she was super sweet to chat with the whole time. I’ll definitely be back!My blonde was looking pretty irregular and kinda brassy, but now it’s a gorgeous Sandy shade that I love

Staff and place are OK but the hair cut and style I had yesterday was horrible. The stylist was too young and inexperienced to deal with my curly hair and bangShe didnt put a towel round my neck while washing my hair so my back got all wet, or showed me what my hair looked like in the back with an extra mirrow when she was done. She was kind, though, but she needs more practice timeWhy do they assign inexperienced stylists to new customers? Is it that the business doesnt want them back?
