Hedges Medical Group is a primary care office where patients have gone for years without any major problems. The practice accepts regular insurance, including PPO, HMO, and Medicare, but does not take Medicaid. The doctors and staff are consistently described as extremely polite, helpful, and wonderful. They listen to what patients have to say and are very easy to talk to. The doctors are thorough, kind, professional, and very educated. One internal medicine doctor has been practicing since the 1970s. The medical team will help order whatever tests are needed and help refer patients to any outside doctors required. They gladly help patients get orders to run necessary tests to get better faster, especially when a patient has looked into their own conditions and the doctor agrees with the assessment. This collaborative approach helps in treating long-term health issues. The facility itself is very clean. The front desk and billing may have minor issues common to any doctor's office, but any problems are always fixed quickly. For anyone looking for a primary care doctor, the practice is just as good as any other and is worth your time. Patients have seen almost every doctor at the place and have never had a problem with any of them, recommending that others definitely give them a chance.
Dr Demartele is a wonderful doctor. He is very easy to talk to and is very thorough. He is very kind and professional. His nurse Jesse and Barb from the lab are wonderful also. The facility is very clean.

Our family has been going to Hedges for about 13 years now. They have great doctors. The urgent care (precovid) is very convenient. I probably had problems with them not answering their phone maybe no more than 3x out of the 13 years. Never had a problem with insurance billing.

Kinda surprised by the negative reviews. Everyone I encountered here was very nice and helpful. I can't speak on follow up information, as I am awaiting results from tests. But, I would recommend this office.
