Everyone at K9 Tailshakers was great, they take the time to train both your dog and yourself to teach your pup obedience and good behavior. Troopers trainer Kat really took her time to explain the right and wrong ways to train him (he’s a high drive Belgian Malinois/ Dutch Shepherd and can be stubborn at times) I highly recommend them

K9 Tailshakers is simply amazing. My pup went through training with Kat and now goes weekly for alumni. He also gets groomed there, and it's the only place I would ever board him. Everyone at K9 has an obvious passion for their work and when you leave your "best friend" with them it's with full confidence they will be taken care of and loved as if they were at home. Jan, Laura, Heather, Theresa, Kat, Paige and Tucker's best buddy Jess (+the rest of the team at K9) are an outstanding group of folks and the best in class when it comes to caring for your furry friends.

K9 Tailshakers, is a facility that you can definitely feel the love, compassion, and knowledge they have for the dogs. The owner Jan Flanagan and the staff are incredible. A special shout out to Laura Stoltz, Theresa Jaworowski, and Heather Michalak, you guys rock and Sebastian and I appreciate you all very dearly. Sebastian has been attending K9 Tailshakers for almost 9 years and till this day he absolutely loves his weekly visits – the tail movement says it all!

K9 Tailshakers is the best, I started with them when they first opened many years ago and have watched them grow and add so many services. I now bring my newest little pup there. You will find the staff to be so caring, and they know the clients and pups by name. It is an incredible place, so many great services, all of them superb!

Everyone is amazing here. We have tried 3 other places and they don't compare to Jan, Laura, and all the staff. Everyone treats our dog like their own furbaby. Theresa & Kayla we love you!

We just got back from vacation, and our two boys (Samson and Loki) stayed here for a total of 6 days. We have nothing but great things to say about this place. We’ve never taken a vacation as a family, because we didn’t want to board our dogs- they’re our kids! We decided it was finally time, and I’m SO THANKFUL that we landed at K9 Tailshakers!!! From the first phone call they were very helpful and just good people. I could go on and on with detail, but just know that I’m very anxious about our dogs’ care- I trust these people 100%. They were patient, calming and informative during each (and every) phone call I made to them throughout our time away from the boys. We will be using their loving services again! Thank you,l to the wonderful staff :)

Kat was an excellent trainer for the beginners class! Our newly adopted pup needed some training as she pulled when walking and didn't always listen. She has made so much growth and the classes have helped her better bond with my family ? . They helped train my former therapy dog like 10 years ago and we knew we had to go back for our newest addition!

We love K9 Tailshakers! Our dog goes for weekly Enrichment, monthly Nail Grooming and the occasional boarding overnight. The staff is great and always having fun with everything they do from their calendar designs to their creative dog treats. Their drop off and pick up process is quick and stress free (especially compared to other places we've gone.) They always know who my dog is, no matter which staff member picks her up. My dog is safe and well taken care of whenever we leave her there and she is all smiles whenever we pick her up. Thanks K9TS ?

We've gone to K9 Tailshakers for our puppy, Millie. She has completed puppy class and beginner's class! Kat is an amazing trainer and you can tell she really enjoys what she does (plus our pup loves her!) Classes are the perfect size where your dog learns about distractions but can also receive 1 on 1 attention. We can't wait to continue teaching and working with our pup at K9 Tailshakers.

We recently completed the Puppy Class with Kat and it was well worth it. Kat made the class fun for both me and my dog and we learned so much. She was patient and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be back for another class to learn even more. Everyone at K9 is so welcoming and go out of their way to greet the dogs. They truly care and it shows! Definitely recommend!

Do NOT even try to bring older dogs or dogs with any kind of anxiety or separation disorders here!I have worked in animal rescue for 25 years with many complex and needy animals, and never have I dealt with an organization that hides behind policy when it suits them and refuses to take a less than ideal dog without even evaluating it.They misled me a week ago when I initially called and gave them my dogs' information. I was told that "generally we don't take dogs over age 8" but she was willing to give them a trial date once I submitted their vaccine records. So I fill out all the papers after picking up vet records (one week turnaround to get dogs into the vet AND get records is NOT a long time)and suddenly my one dog (who is healthy as a horse) is now too old.... over 8 years they won't take "unless we have an established relationship"...and apparently my young shepherd, a Canine Good Citizen, whom they've never met is too nervous for them to board them....based SOLELY on the fact that he, along with my other two dogs, was returned with 15% weight loss to me after boarding for a week at Midwest.I would've understood that if the woman I spoke with last week hadn't told me they'd do it and had me jump through all the hoops with getting them records, pictures, fill out separate applications and registrations, etc. While I appreciate the claim they've got my dogs' best interests at heart, I'm not sure why they suddenly change their tune after telling me last week everything I mentioned in the paperwork would be fine and now today it's not. Here's a suggestion: if you're going to have rules, stick with them instead of stringing people along. I don't board animals often because I take my roles as a foster and fur parent seriously, but when I do, I wanted someplace that would be good to them, as the only other time they were boarded was a nightmare.Thankfully, I'd made alternate arrangements because your wishy washy way of doing business made me nervous that you'd cancel at the last minute...thanks for letting me know that you are absolutely not the boarder of choice for rescue dogs with complex issues and those who care for them.

We love K9 Tailshakers! We had group lessons for a month with Kat, a trainer there, and our dog Marshall learned so much! 4 hours total with a pro coach really got him into shape! I recommend K9 Tailshakers for your training and grooming!
