“Ive found this post office staffed with congenial and knowledgeable personnel, and has a good selection of mailing boxes and envelopes. Wait times are usually minimal unless some self entitled jerk is completing addressing their packages at the service desk instead of the area on the other side of the post office set up to do this.”
“This Post Office has been ok with me for over 27 years. I must say, I never had any issues with them. I've been visiting this post office 3 to 4 times weekly for over 27 years. I believe If anyone leaves this post office a bad review, its only because the person that's leaving it is having a bad day. And I also believe that ALL regular customers that knows this place like I do, agree. These People at THIS post office has AWAYS been very professional. “I actually drove past two other post offices to come here. It's fifteen minutes from my house, while the other two are less than five. I did this because those offices had extremely low ratings, even if you account for a skewed ratio (generally, unhappy customers rate businesses far more often than happy customers).
I was not disappointed. All I found here was friendliness and efficiency. Darlene was an absolute gem. I honestly did not have the energy to deal with someone grumpy today, and while I don't begrudge anyone having a bad day, I just wanted to see a friendly face, especially since I had an unusual mail request.

“Doesn't say which Post Office. Either it's Monee, IL., or Crete, IL.. Money is a good Post Office, generally, but mail has been getting late, recently. Also, they can't help it, but customers and drivers park in your path or ignore the stop signs, for the pedestrian crossings, so I feel traffic is a hazard. I used to park in a different location, then was told it's only for Postal Employees.”
“I have a practice that when I receive exceptional service, I immediately speak to a person in management to compliment the employee. Today my wife and I had to renew our passports and we needed assistance. Denishia was extremely patient, professional, and knowledgeable about the passport process. We did take the time to speak to her supervisor and manager to let the know how much we appreciated the services we received at the Matteson, Illinois post office. Thanks again Denishia!”

“Stopped in to get help scheduling a passport appointment. Couldn't schedule online for no apparent reason other than I'm a Boomer and I refreshed, rebooted....tried every which way possible, and it still would not let me schedule. Not asking my Millennial sons because I don't want to hear the teasing....Boomer this, Boomer that, it's a wonder they made into adulthood with a schmuck Mom like me. Mark my words, those poor mopey Millennials will have their day! Those Gen Z's and Alphas will make mincemeat out of them. I digress, what I really want to say is the New Lenox USPS clerk April was so kind, patient and professional. I explained my dilemma, she understood and even though I did not have an appointment, she helped me file for a new passport. Even took a pic of me for my new passport. She was the BEST!!”
“I have an Etsy shop so all I have to do is hand the packages to the person. I make sure he/she scans the packages and I ask for a receipt. All my orders have made is safely to their destination. I haven’t had any problems.”

“Came in today on September 20, 2025 and they opened at 8:23, not 8am as stated. While we waited in the lobby for the employees to open, you could hear people laughing and cackling in the back. After the long wait, I was told that the fingerprinting clerk was not available. There were no signs no warnings that this person was would not be available for the services I needed. Then I was directed to a far away post office and Park Forest.”
