“The workers are extremely friendly, and if you bring a child they have a free toy basket where they can pick out one item. They always have adorable shoes, jewelry, clothes and home decor/glass ware. I believe the money spent goes to an animal rescue which I love! Definitely stop by and check it out to support a good cause ❤️”
“Love coming here! The staff is so friendly and engaging. I always find treasures when I stop in to look around. I'd rather shop here, where the proceeds go to support NAWS, than shop at national chains who are for profit.”
“This is a really nice thrift store. They do have sales weekly and also the nice thing about the store is that it's helping children that from what I am gathering. I'm not really sure but it is a really nice thrift store. They sell anywhere from clothes to dishes to furniture I also noticed that they do have a large selection of games books and records and DVDs
Update
They responded back to my review and gave me the information on what's their organization is about. Please see photo”
“Lovely little shop with nice variety and reasonable prices. A few men's clothes, women's, household/decor. Proceeds benefit the hospital (per the nice cashier lady I asked), such as something for the NICU, etc. There are always people unable to afford hospital bills; this is a creative way to help care for those in need.
Glad to have discovered this store!”

“Great place. They have a weirdly good selection of kitchenware. Been there twice now and both times found exactly what I needed. 2 nice, see-through lids for pots, and a ceramic casserole dish from Corningware. All for a great price. Staff are friendly too! Will be back again”
“Andrea was amazing! So kind and helpful! She made me feel so much better as I felt bad having to ask for assistance with clothing for a new job. This beautiful lady is very special and I thank you,Andrea,as well as all the staff at Together We Cope! These people are Angel's in disguise!Thank you!”
“Good by on clothing and other thing help abise women The people are friendly and all the people of different nationalities seem to get along real well. The good and the bad I ain't see. No bad though. I love everybody that need repeats even the customers. I like to afford more things but hey they do have good things at Great value. It's half off day now so John in for the fun”
“You never know what you'll find, but you'll always find something. Honestly, this is probably the cleanest thrift store I've been too in a long time. But the best part is knowing that this place uses its profits to help the community in big ways. Morning Star is an incredible organization!”
“I like the store but they are getting greedy with their books, just like they do at the Naperville store. Now I see $6 for hardcover books which are nothing special. Most thrift stores charge $2 or less.”
“Love this Goodwill store. Always a great place to find art, home goods and especially ladies fashion. Store is always neat and organized. Great work by your employees.”
“One of my favorite second hand stores. I’ve had my biggest scores from this place out of all of them. They get some good clothing in, as well as some good home decor. More often than not, I find useful things here. The only thing is I wish they had furniture.”
“I enjoy going to this store. It is near my home and can usually find good deals. Admittedly, prices are high here but are high everywhere! I’m saddened they took away the “colored tag discount.” The reason many are complaining about the stores organization is obvious most times you go in! There are kids let loose running around playing with the toys their parents have no intention of buying. Then, they place anywhere they are. Most staff are very pleasant to me, Maybe the staff who are being called rude are just on the spectrum and don’t like interacting with many people. Just my two cents.”
