Kind Men greeted me as soon as I walked in the door , the two ladies behind the counter are amazing!!š I came very unprepared without any tools to get my license plate off I went in and asked for a screw driver instead they sent a kind man out right away to take it off for me !!! Very welcoming a polite GREAT business THANK YOU ! š

Ive had several vehicles worked on for various reasons. Most recently i had my transmission replaced. Felt confident every time that they are trying to do whats right for me plus they are very knowledgeable, friendly and communicate well.

Auto repair specialist stands behind their work. When I went to and had my oil changed I told them that my car was leaking oil. They found that the oil plug/seal was damaged so they replaced it. Unfortunately my oil leak got worse. Tim got me in the next week and they changed the seal to a different kind and it has been perfect ever since. They didnāt charge me for the second trip. I have found them to be honest and I trust them working on my Audi.

If you need an honest mechanic in the greater Rockford area, this is the shop! Being affiliated with NAPA and AAA checked a lot of boxes for me going into the store. The work they did was first-rate. Use of a loaner car super helpful. When I got on the road and needed follow-up on work already done, the owner Dave was extremely accessible and helpful. I made a point to to thank him for taking such good care of my car and treating me so respectfully well after the initial service had been done. I heartily recommend.

We brought our van in to auto repair specialist because multiple friends told us they would be able to assist us with our transmission issue.
We told them prior to bringing it in what we were quoted at the previous shop and they said to bring it in and they will take a look at it. The same day it was brought to them I got a phone call from Noah one of the techs told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with our transmission and that we just needed a new battery and an oil change, great news!
So they did that and we received our van back.
Exactly a week later I was driving out of town and my car stopped driving in the middle of an intersection!!!!! I was broken down stuck with all three of my kids and immediately had it towed back to them.
They called me the following Monday after and said the transmission is totally doneā¦that it will be almost 5k (for a used one mind you..)
I was so frustrated and disturbed that this was missed the first time and seemed like pure negligence to me.
There was no apology from them, just excuses from Dave on how it didnāt show the codes the first time.
Unfortunately we will not be recommending them, nor using their service again.

My husband jeep was fixed this past Wednesday and mine was fixed this morning. Auto repair specialist does wonderful work. I have no completed and I would agree have referred them to family and friends.
