“Shelves stocked well.Cashier told me I had to wait until customer ahead of me what's through checking out before she could get me something to blow my nose and here's my nose dripping on the floor I think it was unnecessary to wait that to me seems like an emergency but maybe I'm wrong. That's my opinion anyway..”

There was an incident tonight that could have turned extremely unsafe for both the employees and the customers. As soon as I walked in with my children, the two cashiers immediately made sure we knew not to come into the store. What really stood out to me was how calm, composed, and professional they both remained throughout the situation. They didn’t escalate things, they kept their composure, and they handled an incredibly stressful situation with patience and respect, especially knowing I had my children with me.

I just want to give those two cashiers MAJOR props for the way they handled everything. I know that had to be a LOT to process emotionally, and once everything was resolved, I could see how shaken one of the cashiers was.

Girl, YOU DID AMAZING TONIGHT. ❤ You handled an incredibly difficult situation with professionalism and grace, and I hope you know that your actions mattered. YOU ARE APPRECIATED!

And to the manager, WOW. The fact that you arrived at the store as quickly as you did says a lot about the kind of leader you are. Your staff is incredibly lucky to have someone who shows up not only as their manager, but as a leader, protector, and support system when they need it most.

Tonight was a reminder that the people behind the register are human beings, too, and sometimes they’re dealing with situations that are far beyond what anyone should have to handle at work.

“Wow! Isles are cleared of merchandise racks to be stocked. Place looked very nice and tidy. Was a joy to walk through when it's like this. Would have been 5 stars if customers weren't categorized on who could use coupons (those of us who don't use mobile aps are not allowed to use paper coupons?!). Not a good direction for those of us who want to be regular customers - and deserve the discounts.”
