Harbachs is the best meat market around and great steak, strip steaks, filets and cuts of fresh meat. The service is great and better, always appreciate even when almost closing time. The beef jerky, snack sticks, buffalo chicken tenders, jalapeno bacon and 5 packs of brats are great. Fresh locally raised pork chops, pork tenderloins, thin cut seasoned boneless pork and beef are outstanding and delicious. The place is perfect for a day or once a year and the farm cats and kittens are sweet bonus.
Great steak and better service. Whether you're passing through Freeport or live there this is the perfect place to get locally raised and processed meat.

Yum. A must stop on the way to Galena. Try their steaks and their pork chops. They have delicious sausage, too.

First time there, just outstanding! Tried the beef jerky and beef snack sticks right away. Never had better. Our go to place for meat from now on.
