“Manager Kenny is the consummate professional! As the Manager of the Freeport Illinois Super 8, he got involved with us and insured that we would have an enjoyable stay at this location. The Hotel is perfectly situated right off Rt 20 and is under 5 minutes drive from many restaurants and stores. Super 8 offers a transportation service for the guests who do not have a car, replacing the need for Uber/Lyft or any other service. The charge is the same as the ride share companies noted. The friendliest people work at this Super 8 and the morning breakfast is very good. I recommend lodging with Kenny and his staff if you will be in the Freeport Illinois area. I rate the management team and the Rooms 5 Stars!!!”

“We were here for a short weekend for a family event and had our puppy. The Hampton was the only one with a reasonable pet fee albeit their room rates are higher, making it an easier choice. Although it is very outdated, it seemed overall clean and the staff was the best part of the stay. They were all very friendly but not over the top and Markita (*sp -shorter older woman with glasses) did amazing working the front desk by herself and cooking breakfast for all the guests! I was impressed to over hear asking if she made enough food and even more impressed to know she handles that on her own. Kudos to her and the quality of staff that worked there over the weekend!”

“Very nice and helpful staff. The hotel is under renovations, but the staff went the extra mile to accommodate us, who are 20 families in for a basketball tournament. There were things that created inconveniences, but the staff made up for it with their kindness.”
