Customer service is terrible
I purchased 5 yards of fabric and they would not cut each yard individually for me. 2 available employees and no other customers in line.

Lady gave me advise on something that she knew nothing about when I clearly knew what I was doing and simply ignored me and told me it was a dumb idea said thanks for the help and walked out.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff; not the biggest inventory but they hit the high points! The store is organized...the associates obviously take pride in their place of employment! One of my favorite places to shop.

I have shopped at the Freeport Joann Fabric Store for as long as it has been in town, but the experience I had today at the store left me angry and mad. The clerk who waited on me at the register acted indifferent and aloof as though I was not important enough to wait on. Joann coupons are sometimes difficult to figure out, which ones you can use, which ones won't work on what you have purchased, etc. But this clerk was not interested in helping me pick out the coupons to use. Any other time I have used coupons, other clerks are more than happy to point out the correct ones. Not MISSY, that was her name. Missy decided to declare to me that she couldn't look at my phone or printed ad "there are people waiting in line behind you". That is what she said. Now, I have worked retail and that was not something that you say to the customer you are helping. She made me feel that the other customers behind me in line were more important than I was. I was always taught that you help the person right in front of you, and especially since I spent over $60 today. If ever I decide to enter that store again, I will make sure that I don't let Missy wait on me again. I will walk out instead, which is what I should have done at the register. What a terrible company representative she is, If she doesn't want to be there, she should not be there.I hope that someone in charge sees this post and talks to that girl. She needs to take a course in customer service.I have always enjoyed shopping at Joann's and all other clerks in that store are always friendly and helpful. I have never had anyone else in there treat me like she did. What a disappointment...
