Read Park is a popular community recreation area that offers a variety of amenities for visitors. The park features a decent-sized pool with a nice water slide, diving board, and small slide, as well as a zero-entry area. The pool area also has ample seating, with both sunny and shaded spots available. The park's restrooms are described as clean and spacious, with plenty of open and enclosed showers, as well as numerous stalls. The picnic area is shaded and provides ample space for visitors to gather, with the option to set up on the nearby hill as well. Other notable features include a great playground with a sandbox filled with shared toys, a disc golf course, and a large shelter. There is also a food court, mini-golf, and volleyball facilities available, with a small fee for the pool and mini-golf. The park is becoming more dog-friendly, with an increasing number of areas where visitors can bring their canine companions. Overall, Read Park is a well-equipped and well-maintained community space that offers a variety of recreational activities and amenities for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
I'm rating the 11am-1pm adult lap and parent/tot swim time. I am grateful for the time set aside to accommodate these two demographics. It is a very laid back and a pleasant way to spend a couple hours. And great music!

What a great fun, quiet park, except by the pool. Great tennis courts, skate bowl & pool +++++++ . Near plenty of restaurants.
