My husband and I chose to have our wedding reception at the Masonic Temple just simply because it is a beautiful, historic venue and we wanted to our wedding guests to experience that same local historic beauty I love so much about Freeport. After our walk thru we knew it was the perfect location for us between the beautiful decor and the reasonable price, the Masonic was it! We booked with the Masonic only a couple months before our wedding and had a lot of moving parts to create the wedding we both envisioned but Eric was so friendly, easy to get a hold of and so accommodating! I am a wedding planner by profession so I am a bit nit picky when it comes to venues and vendors, but Eric and the other gentleman there went above and beyond to help translate my vision and quickly attended to any issue or question I had. Originally our ceremony was going to take place at the Krape Park bandshell but at the last minute we had a massive storm roll in which forced us to move the ceremony to the Masonic as well. The gentlemen in charge of security for our wedding helped us in every way he could to make that happen and made sure everything went smoothly. It is an absolutely beautiful location I truly could not be happier with how it all turned out!”
