NEW UPDATE:
I recently took my 97 blazer s10 to Mike's to have the fuel spider converted to MFI. Mike did a great job, I came in with the conversation kit from nappa, and some spark plugs and he got it all done.
I dropped the truck off in the morning on Thursday and got a call Friday evening that it was ready to pick up. Mike came in on Saturday for me so I could pick up the truck even though they're closed.
Great guy, great work. I plan to keep bringing my vehicles in!
Old review 2024:
Mike is a great guy, and he didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. He was very transparent throughout.
I took my 92' LeSabre in for a transmission rebuild, and they did a great job. The car drives like it's brand new, and it was far from new when I brought the thing in.
The only reason I can't give 5 stars was simply because of the time it took for my car to get worked on. My car sat in their lot for two weeks before it got on a lift, granted it was done within two days when it was finally gotten to.
I had to call in at least twice for the status of my car, since they didn't reach out to me when they started working. I felt a little in the dark and being without your main vehicle for two and a half weeks without any communication on it's repair status.
That being said, they did an excellent job with the rebuild, and I will be taking my car back for any further transmission services.
TLDR: Might take a bit longer than you expect.

Mike's repair shop does excellent work and not over priced. Repaired my truck for A third of what Ford would have charged me. Hes good people.

I've never had an issue with the work Mike and his guys do, the issue is getting the work done. Have had 3 transmissions done by him in the past five or so years. Quickest turnaround has been 5 months, that was for a straight swap from the blown up stock trans to a built aftermarket for my daily driver. I understand short staffed issues, however even though the place has "transmission" in the title, it seemed to be all other jiffy lube jobs took priority. Ended up having warranty related issues (nothing to do with Mike's work) with my prebuilt aftermarket trans and I took it back to Mike's because they did the install, unfortunately upon drop off it took 3 and a half months for them to pull it and send away, another month for ATS to do the warranty rebuild, then 2 months for them to get it reinstalled. My takeaway from my experience is if you need free long term car storage, just drop it off and say you need the trans rebuilt, should buy you a couple months minimum, however if it's your daily driver, bite the bullet and take it to dealership and pay their rates if you need a reasonable turnaround. Like I said, Ive never had an issue with any of the work they've done for me, two of the transmissions I've had them do were for project cars so the year it took each of those wasn't a big deal, but when my daily truck needed help, there was no sense of urgency. Side note, don't ever buy an ATS trans.

Husband took his vehicle in for work , there were a few issues. Mike worked through them and my husband is very happy with the way his Jeeps runs now, no leaks which makes me happy. As long as hubby is Happy I am delighted. Thank you, Mike for all of your patience and work.

I took my car in because my door wasn't shutting right.Jim had it fixed in 30 minutes!! I was so happy to be able to open it without throwing a shoulder in it!Great service, and they can do anything!!He was detailing a car and it was looking good!

I’ve had 3 transmissions rebuilt at mikes. He always rebuilds them tougher than they were originally. I’ve never had a problem plowing snow. Pulling trailers and dumping dump trucks. I’m very hard on my equipment and his transmissions take a beating. I would only recommend him and his mechanics.
